Suzuki FX Rebuild

Hello fellow members

I have dug out ONE Suzuki FX from a back yard. Body is partly rusted, but engine got started after bit of an effort.

I'm plannng to Rebuild her with reinforced coating on the panels, recommend an EFI Motor with Autotransmission under the hood which can be installed without any major front change.

am in no Hurry have plenty of time as she will be moved to Body shop after eid holidays. !

Inputs in respect of engine, transmission and Tyres will be of great guidance, - with Traffic getting chaotic and parking a MAJOR issue, I have decided to make her my daily commute car when ready.

EE90 have become BIG in morning & evening commute, crowd of Coure, Alto, Vitz. and other XYZ type Trunkless Japanese Imports, on the road.

i think u should also try replacing its shocks in order to make it more comfortable.

Thank you for the input -I think I missed mentioning the model earlier. The car is 1984 (Rectangular lights).

1st step is body work, 2nd engine & transmission swap, 3rd is Paint base coatings , 4th is suspension, 5th is Tyres & Wheels (alloy size 12 max with Yokohama 165 Radials already decided) at the end comes Final Paint layer & Finishing.

Color will be SUNN Camouflage Green ( MATT FINISH ) - Paint shop gave an estimate of Rs. 20000 complete with black 3 layer undercoat - interrior 2 layer black before final body shade is done

Anyone into engine & transmission swapping please offer an input, am more keen for a Suzuki EFI & autotransmission for the FX

the mounting arrangement of an FX is a pain to work around with, it'll be best just to stick with the original 800cc engine and slap a new carby and distributor onto it, have a custom wiring job done for the engine bay and interior to keep it running like a champ.

Engine swaps can be done - e.g. if you want to go about custom mounts and everything, put in the 660cc EFI engine you can get in a jap alto

get cultus engine if possible and get the dash and interior of older model (round lights)

Cultus motor is BIG, I saw one Japanese ALTO front CUT. 3 cylinder 990 cc - It is EFI & auto transmission for complete cut Kabarya from Shershah is asking 100,000.00 Though my jaw dropped over the condition of the cut, but 100,000 is damn expensive for a 1984 FX beside the only usable item(s) are the EFI engine,ECU wiring, Transmission axles & power pump steering assembly aircon compressor, rest of the suspension parts etc are of no use, I offered him 75000 and he looked at me as if I'm a begger !

any options - am open for suggestions as the car is almost done with the body work and will go on under & interior black coatings by friday next week.
