Hello pak wheelers, m new here, I recently bought a Fx which is 88 model, enjine is in perfect condition, but bodywise not in good shape, I always wanted to restore Cars myself, n its the first step towards it, i personally like to restore things to its stock condition, I want to restore its every part, I will get its denting+painting from a professional, although I wanted to do this by myself but this time I am getting it done from professional, may be in next project , will do it myself in sh a Allah, but besides denting n painting, everything will be restored by me, it will be fun, will updates u each n everything, m also uploading videos on my channel on YouTube, u can also watch full videos there, here are some pics of car, when I bought it

Work has already been started, I striped its interior, bumpers, dashboard, carpet, door rubbers, rare lights and some other cosmetics, will hand over to center tomorrow ins ha Allah, first of all I will restore its front bumper to its stock condition, first video of restoration is uploaded on the channel, u can watch there

some points:

Save the plastic air vents pipes as they are hard to find and must be very brittle and can be easily broken

Save the air box, clean it, seal it and re used it as it will help u to install the ac/heater in the car.
Get rid of old wiring and buy new suzuki mehran wiring loop with complete fuse box. This will save u from hassle of connecting old wires with new wires, changing connectors, holders and all.

Save the tray beneath dashboard as this is also a rare item now,
I can see that the front seats are changed and from some japanese car. thats a great thing.
The back seat has been supported by a metal pipe. ask ur dentar to resolve the problem
change that bloody steering and get a good after market one if u dont have the original.

While doing the roof, ask ur dentar to support the roof with khyber/alro roof patti inside as per attached picture

I have already saved its original parts, which are very rare to find, like plastic air vents, tray beneath dash etc
As for air box , I also brought it with me , will open. It personally, and give it a good wash and service, its rusty parts will also be cured, coz I want to restore it to its stock condition
Dashboard, both bumpers will also be restored by myself
As regards steering, I am not changing this steering coz as I am a 6 feet tall, so I feel comfortable driving with this steering
I really respect ur advice about wiring and roof, roof is very rusty, so I am going to change its roof, new roof with pillers, but I really like ur idea of roof Patti, will surely ask my denter to do this

M restoring front number now, its geniun but in bad shape, was tried to be restored by some road side duffer type ustaad, alot of paint and putty(body filler) was applied, I am removing whole paint and filler now, still under process, where is its current condition

yar new khareed lo and put these in safe location. to be used in case of emergency.
because new ones will look good with newly restored body

Front bumper done, as I said final result will be awesome, I am fully satisfied with final result, though it took 3 days to complete, but hard work really paid off, I hope u guys will also love it

Can anybody tell me about color scheme for fx front grill??? I want to know geniun color scheme used by company.BTW my cars company color was Grey and same is being used now

black would be good, becasue some models came with light grey almost silver color grills. but that will not look good with the body color.
