Yeah, delay is part of such projects. And in my case, the delay increased as I wanted the project to go a bit slow so as to avoid any blunder by denter go un-noticed.

As I said earlier in thread of my project that @reyaan52385 is putting in a lot of efforts from his side by doing things himself which I am unable to do for the Datsun.

My first car was also a 1983 800 (or japani FX) and after coming back from school, I would spend all my time with the car doing D.I.Y. experiments, some of which ould be successful and some resulted in calling the mechanic/electrician home to get the car started. The car was in white color, and I used to polish/ wax the car atleast 2 times/ day as an average - it became glossy to extent that today my ceramic coated Alto 2020 can't match that shine.

The second 800 (another Japani FX) I kept and till date repent on selling the car. Car was sold in Apr 2012, all interior and engine bay were 100% original paint with negligible rusting. Outside the car was never completely showered as the roof, side pillars and some other pieces were in original paint too. Interior (dashboard, seats and door curtains) was spotless and in genuine condition. We were the second owners of the vehicle.

check DynaMat it is for sound & heat insulation for automobiles and Karachi Plaza market sell such stuff of chinese origin. It is sold by sq ft price

Please tell what about the paint inside the cabin becuase it all seems un treated with paint?
and what have u painted inside the doors?

In this area paint cabins are very rare, but paint can be applied outside too, if painter is experienced n paint is also of good quality. Me personally is fully satisfied with the end results, what u say about results???

keeping in view of your residence location it is your car your effort and indeed it is very nicely done. Good luck with finishing. Consider it 5 time better if done in any metro city with paint oven facility.

Reyaan this is a good opportunity for you if you are planning to have your own workshop in near future have a paint booth with it and rent it out for painting to other painters too. The biggest problem of painting in open is that dust will stick to the wet paint (sometimes you can't see it clearly but it is there). This is the reason that the painters call for "rubbin paalish" after two or three weeks the paint is done. And in the process of this "rubbin paalish" they use sand papers and local rubbing compound to remove a thin layer of paint from the car (removing the dust particles from the surface and there paint drippings or "aansu" in local terms).
