Some progress finally....

Not the best of work, but some work nonetheless. What's more important that its being done in my budget.
Engine bay is painted and engine shopping will be done on Saturday.

what was the point of the entire exercise if it wasn't meant to be done properly?
ITs a waste of money if you don't get the denting done properly, especially that roof and the placing of the doors.

The point is to keep sanity and accept a reasonable outcome in the resources applied. There's also a need to keep the salvageable value in check. It needs a new engine and if I spend my entire budget on the body, there wouldn't be any left for other stuff.

you should have started with the mechanical and the electrical, and then the body work.
Your first post said that it was in OK condition but its apparently not.
Spending a little extra to get it done right is always worth it instead of spending tonnes of money to redo it again after a few years.

Nope, it was a body off restoration and everything had to come off for paint. If we had tackled that stuff before it would all have to be redone. Bodywork is not too bad, it gets all new panels on the outside so the denting shops trickery is not for show there. Yes the roof was a mistake and right now I have to accept it because chopping this one off for another would mean another 10k on parts and a week of delays.

you don't need to chop it, just dent it properly, shouldn't take more than a day

Nopes, that wouldn't be doing it right. Anyway, this roof doesn't have any flaw that can be fixed with denting.

Well, what's your budget to rebuild this car. I am also thinking to purchase old FX and resurrection it.

Noted: I don't know driving it will be my first car, also my budget is 2lac.

If you can get a car in 50k-60k you can get it resurrected in under 2 lakh, but if you keep high expectation and go for top quality than it can easily cross that.

@nightsurfer it sitll has a lot of rough edges, mis-aligned panel gaps and that roof, but still atleast iot is starting to take shape. do check all the panel gaps again before the final paint. a hell lot of Polycate/bondo. I just hope the car turns out to be ohk and works for quite sometime.

Rough edges have been smoothened as much as possible. We used two new doors frames and their alignment is horrible. Final paint job is planned today.

I saw a FX bad condition really need to work on every field, may be I will purchase around 30-40 thousand.

Now can anyone suggest me that where I can bought

2- Dashboard

Yes, the car is at home and is running fine Alhamdulillah. Unfortunately and not unexpectedly, the body came out to be below par, so I am refraining from posting pictures here. Unfortunately, our nation is not honest and truthful and they cheat wherever possible. For someone who cannot sit at mechanics' for hrs, such projects are not advisable.
