Salam, MashAllah I bought an old 88 Model Suzuki FX for restoration. Car is not in good condition. Many things need a repair or change. InshAllah I will share every piece of information & experience during this project.
Mechanical, Electrical, Suspension & bodywise lot of works need to be done.

First of All I have a plan to Fix the brake problem, As I brake Car Wobbles. It Could be due to disk rotors or suspension.

being in lahore i strongly recommend to get hold of @Hassan1991 if you are planning DIY restoration.

He is the BEST guide you can get via PW. Plan things over paper with his guidance, make a time line & approx digit figure to spend over car.

instead of monies for his expert guidance you shall offer him your pair of hands over his project you will fall in love with while learning alot.

Consider yourself lucky if he spare time to guide you. How to become sticky "CHEGUM" for hassan will be your smartness about learning.

InshAllah We will meet soon. BTW do you have any idea about Berger AutoShield for underside of car floors. I asked from a denter about it but he said dont use it as it give lot of smell that wont go away even after years. He recommend me "COMPOUND" a coaltar blocks mixing with Petrol for undercoat, after replacing car floors. What do you think Berger Autoshield or Desi Compound. What is myth and what is reality? Apply rubberise coating after paint.
Before paint apply epoxy base bare metal primer.

Don't directly apply paint on bare metal.
First use any epoxy base primer. The one specific for bare metal.
Then apply paint on it.
Berger, nexa and nippon etc all got epoxy base primers available.

Before Eid I have bought a new Original Alsons speedometer for my Suzuki FX. Actually It is meter of Suzuki Bolan/Ravi. But shopkeeper said it will work with FX. Fitting Size and all is same except top speed reading is 120Km/h. Please see if it works with my car. Thanks

Don't use it bec its health hazard. Paint keeps emitting toxic gases throughout its life span. Some paints have reduce emition rate
