Suzuki genuine oil and warranty

I just bought swift 20 days ago and now showroom guy confirmed me that 2 year warranty is only valid if i use their engine oil 10w40 one..i wanna use havoline synthetic as i m not sure what Suzuki is mixing in oil can...how can i maintain my warranty even without using their oil..my friend is using thus sgo and he says its very good never had issues in the past 1 year or so with cultus

Don't worry, you can use Suzuki engine oil. The new swift and all other Suzuki cars comes with prefilled Suzuki oils. No one complain while purchasing why Suzuki is putting their own oil in their manufactured cars. And by the way, Suzuki Engine oil is being manufactured by Total and Suzuki Gear oil by Shell. Not even Honda and Toyota manufacture their own engine and transmission oils. These companies just relabel the oils manufactured by other companies.

900 so far. I m planning to change first oil at 1000kms and then every 4000

If the quality ia good enough i can keep it as my regular oil for sure
