Suzuki Genuine oil (SGO)... Any opinions?

Dear all,

I own a cultus 05 with 89k on the dial. I am currently using ZIC (the blue one dont remember the exact name). I want the members opinions about the SGO introduced by Suzuki. How is the performance of the oil? and which one should i go for my car plus what is the cost.

First of all it is not suzuki geniune oil coz suzuki has no plant in pakistan.i used this oil last day and i saw Total pakistan label on bottle..suzuki is selling in 1650rps /3lte while if you buy from total then you will get in 1398rps/3ltr
suzuki pak company is big lier they are selling other campny product in suzuki packing ...just like they are selling gaurd oil filter in suzuki packing and getting commission on it...
now come to your point i think you should stick with zic geniune oil they are better than so called suzuki oil..my car is in warranty anf if i use zic or any other oil in my new car then my car warranty will expire this is new suzuki policy.
i recommend you zic over SGO

Ya last day when i went for my car tuneup they recommend me to use suzuki oil in car otherwise car warranty will not be claim if something bad happend to car parts i was like WTf ..suzuki every thing is ovrpriced...

i used SGO motorcycle oil for my suzuki sprinter (bike), it is a repackaged TOTAL motorcycle oil and its totally ****. oil turned liquid after 700km and the motorcycle vibrates throughout the rev range now. DONT buy SGO.

you can hold them in a court for this, reason being that oil is graded by an independant body not suzuki and suzuki does not distill hydrocarbon or blend any oils - it buys OTC.

This sort of situation is valid only if you have a special product.

sgo or whatever is just a way to extract money from customer pocket

the best oil for petrol car is shell synthetic oil with original oil filter
and for cng cars shell blue give you true and best in price
i use shell synthetic for my corolla and mashallah till now i didnt get any problem like decrease in the level of oil e.t.c

suzuki and other workshop they just play with the mind of the customer nothing else

how would suzuki people get to know whether or not the oil in engine is suzuki oil?

They keep record of the oil change history of each car and will even call at times that oil-change is due.

Brother,

I suggest to use PTT Perform 5/40

This oil is really outclass and I am using it since more than quarter. Car is running as smooth as silk.
Its not expensive like Mobil1 or Liqui Moly, etc. But a bit expensive than ZIC.

Why Performa?
Because for the time being, its being imported directly and sell in Pak. market. Not yet re-packing has been started here.
Its from Thailand and oil is really outclass. Am sure you'll like it. But always use Leepon's air & oil filters. These are best with every oil change.

Change this oil after 5K for sure. No-problem at all.

If you like this oil, then next time use their Super Synthetic 0/40. It’s another outclass oil and even better than ZIC XQ.

To keep the warranty valid you have to change you oil filter and xyz from company other wise it will be void, it's just not the case with suzuki.
