Suzuki GR-150 Video Review and Ride

Salam, so here's my take on the new GR-150 by Qingqi/Suzuki

Now this is by no means the final verdict. There are parts I haven't included yet, which may be the exposed wiring, the CDI being right next to the carburetor. Also, although clocked almost 2000 kms , much of that is is the city mileage, so we need to see how the GR-150 would perform on the terrains people tend to take the GS-150/SE on, i.e. Har gandi sarandi jagah

But do give your thoughts on this.

Occasionally I ride GS-150 and found it good only on empty road / lesser traffic. It became nightmare in terms of handling in traffic jam. Backache and shoulders pain.

? - How you feel GR-150 in term of handling during the rush hours.

? - What about the side cover locks? Or they are also vulnerable to flying with high colors.

? - How comfortable this ride for a pillion rider as GS is highly non-comfortable in this scenario.

? - Few riders have issues with brake pedal in GS 150 that it is very very closed to silencer pipe. How you feel this in GR-150.

? - I noticed you mentioned better torque that means GR has a better pick than GS, right?

? - How much balanced this bike is. People had issues with GS that it tilt left or right because of its faulty frame.

Gs and gr 150 engine.looks same to me but you mentioned it has crank balancer btw better torque in gr was never a suprise gr has a lot longer intake runner compared gs which contributes to better low end

That's a mouthful of questions lol. Well to sum it up, it feels nimble like a GD110s, despite being 133kgs heavy. The handling is decent but not great just like GS150 which felt a bit too heavy for some reason. The GR is 5cm longer than GS though. Pillion ride is also good but I must admit, the bike has not been tested in the conditions GS riders have tested their bike, and by that I mean the bowels of hell... So only time will tell. 8.5 ft lb isn't that great TBH though.
It's well balanced however.

Can it be considered replacement of GS 150 SE?

I recently bought this Bike. Its price has been revised. New price is 195k + 8k Registration. Its an awesome smooth bike. 110%.
No No No comparison with GS. It has totally different smooth and BETTER riding experience.
I have ridden all Pakistani bikes and this is the best of all.
Go and ask any shop at Akbar road Cb 150f is better or GR150 ! They all will answer GR150
195k is still a little high price but I am willing to pay that 15-20k extra money for the smoothness this bike provides.

Got to ride this bike today.
Smooth and effortless ride. Feels nimble while weighing more than a GS150.
Low end torque is good and bike is pleasure to ride in traffic even with a pillion.
High end may be lacking a bit compared to GS150 but still It managed to achieve 110 on meter easily.
Braking is very good.

Can it is possible to install tubeless tyres in gr
