Suzuki GS 125 Engine Problem

Hello Everybody.
i have Suzuki Gs 125 which is giving me some kind of problem which i could not figured where does it lies. Its engine gives Tik tik tik sound when started. Sound comes from the upper part i mean the Head section of engine. Where could be the problem you guys have any idea?

Most probably the valves are loose that could be reason of tik tik sound.Better consult mechanic & show ur problem to him.

My opinion is to buy a "stethoscope for auto"and you will find easily that whether its the sound from engine or any other part.

actually mechanic told me it s temmak or tamkann( it is punjabi word) needs to be adjusted now as he is not a Suzuki authorized person so it is difficult for me to let him play with it. And it is becoming difficult for me theses days to go almost 100 km and then go to a Suzuki service station. So thought you people might have similar kind of problem any time and could give me some idea. can any body translate what the mechanic guy was telling or trying to convey me. i have recently put new engine oil about two weak ago and bike has traveled about 250 km.

he must have meant 'timing' needs to be adjusted... mechnics here in lahore alos call it like this they say .. paeen (bhai jan) adi timak out hagi aye set ker dawan ? (its timing is out should I adjust it ?) so most probably he meant the same...

My Answer when mechnic asks me to do it : "Teri Maharbani Rehn Dey ... aye inj he sahi aye.."

Assalam-o-Alikum dear i am new on this forum, I need advise i bought suzuki gs 125 it give 23 to 24 km in 1 liter. mechanic said me you should have to change the carborator. but its too costly. i want to ask can i fit honda cg 125 carborator in suzuki gs 125. ye possible hai. is me koi problem to nahi ho gi or bike is carborator per theak chaly gi. please answer my question as soon as possible
