Indeed true for the first and even I dont think even the second one is gona be a very good decision becuase the little calculations involved by pupil like fan boys will be as poor as one can expect from a 5ht grader so better to do the alteration which really can put some +ve effect not really at least psychologically..

1. get a wider rim instead of a fatter tyre, see if it helps. you might consider HONDA Deluxe's rim which is quiet wider then GS-150's.

2. if that didn't tickle your fancy, how about installing a smaller rim. e.g., installing a 17inch Rim then install a fatter tyre. a bit of calculation may be required (easily available online) to ensure that your stock gearing ratio remains the same. this way, your gearing ratio will not change by much (again, ensure via online gearing ratio calculators).

That's why i am not installing a fat tyre in my GS

best option I see so far is to Put a Dlx/RP RIM+Tyre if a 125 can bear it so then there would be no issue with a 150 (even better Grip and no loss in any thing)

i have been driving my cd on 2.75 stock servis tyres..No problem whatsoever..Instaling higher tread tyre is just for mental satisfaction..Stock tyres are more than enough..This applies to stock/non modded motorcycle

The slight hissing will go away when you get its tappets adjusted at 1000km, and will get totally normal at final tappet adjustment which is done at 2000km

Don't worry bro aesay sounds GS say atay rehtay hain you will get used to it

nothing will happen to the bike and there will be no sounds at all if you keep your bike away from local ustads. my bike is maintained from suzuki motors since the start. it will be 3 years old after 3 days and more than 21k on the odo. still enjoy riding it as i used to enjoy when it was new. except the few sounds that comes with age. having 2 gs at home. one is a brand new 2013 gs of my brother. comparing both i am very much satisfied from how i have kept my bike and Allhamdullilah both the bikes never faced the big issues that people share even when you are standing at a signal :D.
