I was getting fuel average around 32Km/lit from last few fillings from Shell petrol pump and blamed it on my high throttle usage on intercity rides.
But last time i changed to Attock pump and fuel average jumped to 38Km/lit, and this was with a little more intense than routine usage during Eid days.

When i was in ISL, my friend advised me to avoid Shell pumps. Seems like situation is same in my home town.

Which company pump you guys prefer for fuel????

I use total they are few 'Piasas' ecpensive then shell per liter but gives best mileage... second choice is PSO .. always avoid shell I never had any good experience.. specially in 125 or upper bikes.. 70 bichariyan tu miti ky tail per bhi chal jatien hain ..

PSO petrol gave me 58km/L. The specific pump is located near police lines islamabad. Attock has the best petrol according to majority

not really against them if you notice the fuel is little cheap (again few paisas though price is same in elite areas) I think there fuel octane level is different or some thing not sure...

Bro it totally depends upon specific pump be it Shell,Total,Pso or whatever.
It's better to choose pump after your own experience.

There is a Shell pump opposite Butt sweets Garhi Shahu.It gives me best mileage in my YB100.Also a BYCO pump(but its far away from my house),also gives good mileage.

I prefer Total petrol pump Link road due to good mileage but it is 3kms away from my house.

That's why I usually refuel from PSO which is near my house but it's just fine. (Laziness) lolzzzz

Hi All,
I was reading this whole thread and found it interesting to reply and share my experiences with my GS. I bought it in feb '13 and since then had drove it 12000 KMs. Overall experience I had is great and many of my friends have also bought GS after having a test drive on my bike.

The first 2000 Kms were not enjoyable due to the experiments I did with Oil and Air Mixture settings and some other stuff. But once finalizing the stuff I am really satisfied and enjoying the drive. The thrust it gives is unmatchable and can't even express the height of joy I feel. It easily touches 100KM/H in 10 seconds. the top speed I have touched is 117 Km/h on Islamabad Highway when there was no traffic but then I had to apply breaks due to signal crossing . The fuel consumption is good and depends on the speed and the way you shift between the gears.

In short its a "BIKE" not a "motorcycle"

Got some questions regarding safe guard on GS in my inbox,
thought to answer here so it'll be useful for everyone...

I am using a typical single rod safe guard, but had to do little modifications to make it fit on thicker frame pipe of GS as it was orginally designed to fit on CG.

1. 1st thing was to get longer bolts because thick frame pipe caused more gap between rod and clip.

2. The clip that came with rod wasn't seating properly on thick rod so i put it on the ground and flattened it a little with heavy strokes of hammer. Few strokes were enough to make it perfectly seated on frame pipe.

3. Used single layer of bike's tube in between the frame pipe and the rod to avoid metal on metal slipping.

Working fine for hanging stuff, have loaded pretty heavy stuff as well and it's going solid.
But the longer bolts i got aren't of as good quality as safe guard itself, and have started catching rust. So try to find some good quality chromed bolts if you need them. these black bolts aren't very good.

I have same safeguard in my YB.
It's looking small at GS. But it's good if it is working for u.

ye kaam me bhi kerta hun GD ke sath.. q k time sirf rat ko free milta hai to dusri bike saaf kerta hun to GD ki lights on hoti hain.. loadshedding time
lekin GD ko saaf kerne k liye din ka hi wait kerna perta hai.. petrol price.. u know what i mean

Brothers kindly tell me about handling of this bike in comparison to CG 125 or any other normal Bike, i feel it different from others, can i use this bike on roads of karachi with full of traffic, for traveling to Office and home...... is it comfortable, i feel its handling is hard and it will make arms tired. can i do cutting withing traffic smmothly? Please help,

Cutting will be a hassle, so will be heavy traffic , however this is due to wider handlebars which are more suited to longer routes with moderate traffic

Main nay aj aik bike chala k dekhi he, mujhy handle bhar bhai sa laga, in comparison to a 70cc bike, is it normal?

You will get an ache in your shoulders and wrists if you want to maneuver this baby in traffic so like me get a CD70 for traffic driving within city and GS150 for highways and for having bit of fun(H)

Same is my case , i use GS 150 for fun and longer routes and CD 70 for use in heavy traffic. Ironically both are giving me identical mileage
Gs 150 is currently giving 38 kpl
Cd 70 after ring piston change is giving me 40 kpl on race mode (50 kpl when there is lesser traffic and on gentleman mode)
