you need to be sure if you were really clocking 110 I think I remember you once told you meter has a error rate if matched with GPS .... may be you were some where near 101 and he was doing 104 ?

I had my younger brother with me on bike while he was riding single. But still i wasn't expecting him to tackle with me at 110Km/h. Left me surprised.

yes vicky bhai, strictly speaking by GPS, i was at 103Km/h and that guy could easily be at about 106Km/h i guess

Oh Gull bhai that deluxe was amazing & was certainly capable of doing 110km/h :)
i only once achieved 110km/h on my deluxe & bro deluxe meter is very accurate
110 on deluxe meter means 110 on GPS

But again i guess real competition would have been when you were single too :)
but deluxe deserves appreciation really hatts off for that deluxe which managed to beat GS150 (H)

yes amjad bro, that Deluxe certainly deserves appreciation.
I once had little run with CG125 Euro II also. That day also, my GS was clocking 110Km/h exactly, and that CG was roaring 10 meters behind me and simply failed to overtake me. He was matching my speed though, we stayed at the same distance for around 3Km i guess. But this Deluxe was amazing.

deluxe at 106 or even 110 is legitmate... I agree ..

Bdw fikar na Karen my Junoon has been raped by cd70s and Chondas several times! Sometimes I was single they were doubling... But then again me alone weighed more than those sukra kangri racer guys...
But I'm also sure some of them at least had some kinda mod!

umar bhai in lahore most of them are 78cc and a larger numbe of chondas young riders are putting 97cc and 107cc piston+Cylenders on there chonda 70s which are light wieght as well so thats why they take on 100cc class bikes that easy.

the chonda70 I am using takes on even a sprinter with a smile due to124cc bore... but it doesnt stands a chance in front of CGs ...

I guess that the general conception of GS having higher top speed than CG is with stock skinny tyre and rim only.
With this bigger rim and 90/90 tyre at the rear, the best i can do is match CG speed. that's it.

Even in this incidence, if i would have been riding alone, i could have pushed my speedo to 115Km/h which would have been just enough to keep him behind me once i overtook him.

agreed, fatter rim and tyre do give good stability on bumps and when conditions go wet but speed is sacrificed..

Yup, amazing stability + confident braking at very high speeds
It's so stable that sometimes i feel like yawning while going at 110km/h for too long, and curse it for not going at 120.

List Of Changes/Modifications Done:
-Stock Rear 1.6 inch rim changed with 2.15 inch Deluxe rim. Coated with compound from inside to prevent from rust
-Stock Front 1.4 inch rim replaced with 1.6 inch rim. Also coated with compound from inside.
-Stock Rear 3.00-18 tyre replaced with 90/90-18 tyre.
-Used Kaawya to make small holes in side tappas and used cable ties to tight it with frame pipe just as a precaution. As i have seen some GS without side tappas and owners told that it just flew away while riding.

@gull_s_777 what is the difference between 3.00-18 tyre and 90/90-18 tyre ?
