if there is constant missing above hundred go to a electrician but down seat and fuel tank.under the fuel tank there is coil providing currnt to the spark plug cheak these two cables on this coil make then tight on coil.hope it will work.inshallah.gs is a great bike.

helo dear brothers! I AM ALSO A BIKE LOVER. LITTLE HISTORY ABOUT ME...

MY FIRST BIKE WAS 100CC YAMAHA 2 STROKE 92 MODEL, I KEEP ON RACING ON THAT BIKE FOR MORE THAN 9 YEARS( 3 ACCIDENTS INVOLVED) 2 TIMES FULL ENGINE OVERHAULLED 110KM/H IN FORTRESS PIYALA YES I DID THAT .THEN I SELL IT IN AROUND 25 THOUSANS RS THEN I BOUGHT YAMAHA YZX250 98 MODEL, USED FROM SOME IMPORTER LIVE NEAR TO ME, I USE THAT BIKE FOR 11 MOUNTHS THEN MY DAD SOLD IT BCOZ IT DIRECTLY FALLS ON MY LEG HAHAHAHA THNX GOD TAANG BACH GAI. THEN I GOT HONDA 125, 99 MODEL, AND AFTER DRIVING IT FOR 1 YEAR MY ASK ME TO SELL IT AND HE GAVE ME YAMAHA 4 STROKE. I STILL OWN IT FOR LAST 4 YEARS, ITS DOIN VERY WELL JUST DONE 10300 TILL DATE. NOW I AM TRYING TO SWITCH OVER TO GS 150 AFTER READING ALL THE VERY NICE COMMENTS ABOUT THIS RIDE.

1 more thing for all of u bros is that u cant compare honda 125 with suzuki bcoz image of honda 125 develops in 90s and suzuki comes in this market 3 to 4 years back , if someone got balls i do challange that any honda125 of any model which is not altered can never ever compete yamaha 2 stroke bike ever, yamaha 2 stroke is equal ti gto11o, and it also keep on running equally with gto125 kawasaki till 4th gear, but when kawasaki changed into 4th gear to 5th gear then it left yamaha 100cc behind , this is not fake brothers its personal experience,
AND the race i am talking about is not check is simple straight road race from lahore to pindi with only one stay to fuel up the bike. i love those days man.

for xaj and faisal brother airfilter formula is very good by faisal i also try this with other bikes as well it works man, and as far as mobil oil is concerned try to use ZIC a grade 3 litre packing , man its awsome, Zic dalnay say gears ko lamba khainch saktay hain aap aur agr aur top speed laini hay to bara plug(sports version) lga k plug wire bhi change kar lain (honda civics plug wire 92 model preferable from bilal gunj recommended) try kar lain, man i tell u if u do these adjustments your bike will break meter needle.
agr phir bhi apki tassali na ho to spockets set (chain garrari) change kar lain , apko ko yaad hoga ek baar lahore police black suzuki 250cc di gai the, us bike ki disc brake sprokets + chain gs 150 main exactly fit ajati hay aur ko extra alteration bhi nai karni parti like shocks change. waisay bhi koshish karni chahiya if possible oil seal ko renew karwatay rehna chahiya after every 1 year, oil seal main tractor main use honay wala oil which is faar thicker than ordinary oil use kar laina chahiya.
all these things i got from self experiments with my bikes.
ek mazay ki baat sunain jab main gto125 ki race lga rha tha lahore to muree then mainay ek table spoon karwa tail dala tha uski tank main , then wo malai ki trah chal rai thi and i touch full 160 meter with that man that out of this world as u all know gto 125 is 2 stroke thats y all this thing happen.

Thanks for considering my opinions, well its really good opinion from your side about plugs but I like to know that is really helpful for daily ride, And do let all us know hwen you got your gs150cc because I think all of us on this thread really waiting for it because I think you got a vast experience of modification with engines. And whats about the disc break in front wheel and how much will it cost me, please let me know and is there is any place for it in rawalpindi or Islamabad.

Nice to know that u r enjoying experince of Both GS 150 & Storm 125,

If u wana go with Wider tyre like CG Dlux or storm's tyre than i wud recomend u to change rear rim of ur GS as well as its stock rim size is 1.60 X 18 which can serve tyre size upto 3.00 X 18 while for wider tyres like 3.25 & 3.50 X 18 or 90/90 X 18 u need rims size 1.85 X 18 or 2.15 X 18. So u can use rim from CG Dlux or Storm 125.

Answer to ur query regarding good mechanic for Suzuki bike is Mr. Asif his workshop is @ McLeod road in market near Zameendar Hotel. Or i have also heared about that Mr. Kashif in Town ship One member already have provided his contact in previous post.

Ucan change complet front suspension of ur GS with Storms front suspension & can keep Original with u. Ucan chack vaialblity from Mr. Asif (mamehmood) of Storm's front suspension with disck brake on Ravi Piaggio Storm 125 Thread.

Are u guys sure ur bikes are equiped wid 19 size tyre? if yes then tell us how u guys install 19 # tyre on 18 # rim & where did u found 19 # rear tyre?

Faisal pls dont ruined beauty of ur bike by installing front Cowling/Headlight of CG Dlx it wudnt suit on GS. BTW if installed on Storm 125 its looks more attractive than on CG Dlx it self.

There are some Jugars to put Trail bike suspension on other bikes but these type of conversion didnt perform well & becomes daily headache.

I think u should target some Trail Bike to fullfill ur requirments. Omar Bhai is chasing a KE 175 these days & i m also in search of Suzuki TS 185 so we can make our next trip with rides having better ofroading capabilities.

SO i will advise u to search some trail bike with good body/Suspension condition in Karachi mean while i m looking in Lahore.

Actually I am not interested any at all to change the front light light of my bike, as i am just thinking to change it rear look because sometimes it looks so much pathetic to me.

Can anyone tell me that from where I can found the Storms Front Disk Break from here in Rawalpindi and how much will it cost me

brother i dont have the gs150, but due to my keen interest in bikes i know some alterations that works.. actually tell u the truth brother at one time when i owned yamaha 250cc 6 gear tour bike with thermostate petrol nob, and my cousin got honda cbr400cc in full farigh condition. and one of his friend got kawasaki ke175 .. that was the dumbest decission we all made, anywayz we start experimenting on our bikes.. and believe me i let my bike tunned from a normal bike mechanic and it runs very smothly and after some time i start maintaining my bike by my self thats why i know all these things. hope we build a level of trust between us after u apply my formulas lolzzz.

@imranbhatti bhai 19 number tyre balkay is say bhi big size main aap ko Karachi main BahaDur Shah Market say easily very easily available ho ga, Karachi main urdu Bazar kay pass hay ye market, main nay 3 years pehlay change kerwaya tha aur meray khayal say 1650 ka lia tha tyre ab phir change kerwana hay ab dekho kay kitnay ka milta hay,

Well i also bought this tire from the same market, from where @dawoodislaam had bought but do not remember the price "perchiya talaash kerne paray gee".

Still asking anyone who knows that from where i can bought in Rawalpindi or Islamabad the Disc Brake for my GS150 and approximately how much will it cost me.

bro ap suzuki 100 ka disc brake system bhi use kar sktay ho bcoz its reliable and easily available at any suzuki outlet. on the other hand if u cant afford the new one then find it in used spare parts market the suzuki gs250 black colour bike which at one time our police kept for petroling having the disk brake system is very easily installed at gs150 aur is say apkay exsisting shocks pay bhi koi khaas effect nai paray ga. every after 6 to 8 months u may change the oil seals of your shocks then there will be no need to change the shocks, its less expensive than changing the whole front.

As far as plugs are concerned u can find easily the same size plugs used in cars. its ok for daily basis use balkay it can enhance the performance of your bike. u have to consider that if u speedy bike then u must compromise the petrol cost bcoz as every one knows more throtle u gave less consumption u get dear, waisay plug change karnay say consumption ka koi concern nai hay , this is just for better start and better pickup , it also helps to prolong the tunning tenior (time).
must use ZIC oil then u will definately feel the difference.

front disk cost u more than 6000/-Rs ( brand new ) and one more thing dear if u can change the brake system its obvious that u may need strong rim and strong tyre as well in front so first think over it , calculate the total cost then take a step dear..

Get check wat is written on ur bikes tyre it can be of wider profile like 3.25, 3.50, 4.10 X 18 but wheel size cudnt change from 18 to 19 unless u got change RIm.

I know that bigger tyres/rims are used in Trail bikes & some bigger bikes as well but the i ssue is 19 Inch or bigger rims are not used atleast on rear wheels( I m refering to bikes built after 70s older bike may have)

Pls do post pics tyre profile wrriten on ur bikes tyres so we can see how 19 # tyre can fits on 18 # rims.
