Suzuki Jimny 660 vs 1300cc

I want to buy a used Jimny 660 turbo under 1.2 million (12 lakh).
Which one is better for normal use and a little offroading? I have watched a youtube video illustrating that Jimny MT is much better and powerful than AT.

Futhermore, which Jimny will be better for 4-5 years of usage if I buy it in used condition under 12 lakh? PKDM or JDM??? Or other variants if available.

The 660cc is too underpowered for the alto. I wonder how can one imagine 660cc jimny to add to the misery off roading.

Sir I have seen many pakwheelrs praising 660 turbo jimny, that it is both economical and high torque.. Please have a look at this example:

Please share which one of the two are good to buy for a daily city use. Fuel economy? price? speed? power? please advise which one to buy based on experience.

I think you should go thru both the threads again and read the comments. In the first thread out of 12 only 1 comment says that the turbo variant is good.

Jimny 660cc is a toy car to do house chores. A replacement for suzuki alto, Nissan days, Daihatsu mira. Don't expect anything else out of it

The turbo might be fun to drive once the turbo goes wrong where will you source the parts from.

I've driven both for almost 1.5 years. The PKDM M/T is better in power. The JDM is really anemic and not worth it.

Are you saying it by your literal experience with both 660 vs 1300 or just assuming?

No assumptions. Pure hands on experience alternating b/w the PKDM (M/T) and JDM versions. Just as @chinyoti bhai said. The difference in driving experience between both is considerable enough to choose the M/T over the other

What do u want me to elaborate ? Their is no PKDM Suzuki Jimny.

The Jimny sold in paksitan by paksuzuki is a Japan import 1300 variant. The grey import is 660cc to keep costs lower. Both are made in Japan

Then don't use the word 'PKDM' as also by Sir @fouadbakht , if there is no assembling in Pak.

So the ones imported and sold by PSM co. ltd. are only 1300, while 660 are imported by other people and thats why called JDMs? Right?

Sir I already got your point about MT vs AT,, but I am curious about 660 vs 1300, and now further confused about the fact that jimny are 'never assembled in Pakistan' and hence imported from else where. So it makes your answer even more and more tangled that if there are no PKDM jimnys and only imported ones so which Jimnys are you talking about 🤯

Their have always been 2 types of Jimnys. 660cc and 1300cc.

Some cosmetic differences. PakSuzuki imported manual 1300CC base grade Jimnys in Pakistan only.

660cc Jimnys are mostly automatic. As I mentioned earlier those are toy cars. Replacement for Suzuki Alto, Nissan Days, Daihatsu mira and other 660cc cars. Higher ground clearance might be an advantage, turbo might be fun to drive. But these 660cc dinkies are not meant for off roading.

The 4x4 in these small cars are for snow driving in Japan.

Suzuki Jimny 660 is usually called Jimny or Jimny 660.

Suzuki Jimny 1300/1500 is mostly know as Jimny Siera and has a wider body bigger bumpers.

Similarly Mitsubishi mini Pajero is 660cc Pajero Junior or JR is 1100cc

Hi Pakwheelers it's my first post I want to buy suzuki jimny for my father and I wanna know the ac performance of the car as some mechanics told me that it's ac stops working when the car is idle is it true? And which one is better 660cc or 1300cc. I want to buy automatic. Thanks

1300 performs much better than 660. Don't know about ac

1300cc me AC Acha chal jata hai, normal c offloading me achi gari hai, tyres oversize mat ki jiye ga otherwise fuel average low ho jae gi
Recommended tyre size use karen aur yeh mini pajeros speed k liye nhi hn, Jimny 1300 maximum 90kph tak drive karen, es se uper wind pressure double ho jata hai
Low profile tyres use karen
K series fuel injectors
Thermostat valve
3 tip plugs
Achi coils
Aur radiator me coolant
1300cc give you a very good average and better ac performance
