@omersiddiqui5482 Indeed I will keep a close eye on it. Some gaps and lines are still little uneven because of constant assembling/disassembling of doors for sanding.

please do not forget for industrial anti-rust paint at the under carriage. otherwise the whole exercise of bitumen sheets on floor will be total waste

also make sure to brush clean the whole interior before 1st paint layer is sprayed. I can see plenty of debris at the wiper tray

There are 2 vents, one on each side covered by a flap which opens when you close the car doors. I think this side of your car had already been repaired and the original sheet was replaced with another one. Here Im attaching the reference pictures to give you an idea that how do they look like. very nice observation.......but i guess this is old model swift / khyber. it may not have the space for this air vent.

Earlier models had these vents for air passage but after 96 I guess they removed it... I mean who the hell was going to check anyway in pakistan... Suzuki cut costs... My 93 has it... But a neighbors 97 doesn't...

consider saving Rs. 200/- for a pair on single car and suzuki producing 1500 cars a month.

This is just like mehran have two washer nozzles in older models and now they have one, similarly the door lights have wiring present for both front doors but they provide switch for only driving door saving a pathetic 50 rupees switch on each car so the calculation goes like (50*1800 cars per month = 90000/- rupees saving just for only small door switch.

check this ad for dashboard of khyber also sold as :Barina & sprint in many countries. The asking price is too much but the dashboard is a masterpiece with loads of options....

He is asking way to much. The same cockpit you can find in club Cultus 84-88 models... Almost same features...

Restoring Suzuki Khyber 1997 in low Budget

AOA everyone.. i have just started restoration of Suzuki Khyber 97 so sharing with you guys. suggestions and opinions are welcome and plz tolerate my writing skills as i am not gud in story telling..

I am looking for RPM cluster too. Will let you know If I find anywhere. Also, I personally think Holden Barina's Dashboard, although has some extra features but look wise is inferior to Khyber dashboard.

Update:
2 Days back our mechanic told us to go to a workshop named M.Ali Engineering near Waterpump for Lathe Machine work for engine and repair of Gearbox. On opening of Engine it was found out that bore and pistons were not in very bad shape but crankshaft was. Crankshaft main bearing were already resurfaced to 1.25 and had been done 2 or thrice at least before. He advised us that he can repair and polished crankshaft and told us to buy oversized or undersized (I forgot) main bearings.
Luckily, we found a guy who was selling crankshaft of Cultus along with main bearings and rods. So, we grabbed the item and got them inspected with M.Ali Engineering and he said that it was in very good condition.
Apparently, Cultus and Khyber have same Crankshaft.

Crankshaft cost us around 14k
All other parts are yet to be delivered to him. All of them will be of Fuji or other Japanese brand
Gearbox repair Cost us around 8000

Yes u r rite he is asking too much. it should be around 20-25k max. I can see many extra switches like, meter light dimmer, back wiper, fog lights, trunk opener which i guess club cultus 2door versions have it but not the 4 door versions.

Exactly @nnabeel bhai, in 2 door club Cultus all these switches are present along with the digital instrument binical..

Guys search on FB pages for Kabli parts these RPM meters pop up more frequently usually from Peshawar... you can also take trip to shershah...
