Suzuki Khyber Wiring Fire - Thanks to the Jugaaru Auto Electricians

Assalam o alaikum, everyone!

Last night while driving my suzuki khyber i sensed some plastic burning smell but wasn't sure where it is coming from. I stopped the car and opened the bonnet and there was a big flame on left headlight side. I was shocked and immediately tried to stop it using the emergency fire extinguisher spray that i kept. The fire stopped. I pulled out the battery terminal (I badly missed a kill switch).
Thanks to Pakistani Auto Electricians who do the jugaar and hack jobs.
Alhamdulillah i was saved from some disaster and a huge loss but this is a matter of concern for me and similar people like me.
Would like to hear you thoughts on this.

What was installed here that caught fire?

Originally there is nothing here, I see the main power cables also are missing the factory installed fusible links.

Please route the coil ignition cable so its not resting on the battery clamp. Tie it to the radiator hose if its too long or just shorten it and make it properly.

Thats also a fire hazard waiting to happen.

Thankyou for your reply. I recently got a pair of orange parking lights installed. The electrician did a hack job perhaps by joining the wires in an unprofessional way. Or the wires themselves were of low quality which led to this.
I am thinking of getting the whole wiring revamped soon.
Please share any tips or any improvements that can be done. Thankyou.

That still doesnt add up because the factory wiring to the parking lights is fused and the fuse is under the dashboard. A short blows it open.

Anyway

The fire there more seems like high ampere wiring suffering a dead short, the factory wiring has 2 fusible links at the positive terminal, they look like a tiny wire is joining the thick wire to the battery, its the safety burnout fuse which will melt and blowout when a dead short happens.

Electricians throw those away for some reason.

It looks like there was a relay installed near headlights.
Most of juggar electricians do this they install relay directly on headlights by adding main source from battery. When you turn on the lights the relay decreases the power drop, usually old wiring has problems and lights are not that good. So electricians do this.
This basically bypass the fusible parking or headlights connection

So probably that relay got short circuited or water damaged. Get it inspected properly.

Just got the whole mess sorted a few days ago. Couldn't post earlier.

The electrician after inspection told that at no level the wiring is affected and no need to get the whole wiring sorted or done again. He said that this is already a desi wiring etc. Although, he suggested to get the few circuits like head lights and other stuff cleaned and rewired. I had no idea of the internal circuitry etc and had to agree to his assessment and trust him on that.

The left light was totally burnt due to the fire as shown:

I tried to find a "Haandi" but then went for a complete new light. The electrician also made me purchase 2 pieces of wire "BK" was the brand perhaps and a fuse box.

I asked him to put every critical circuitry behind the fuses etc for safety and no "direct wire" should be there. He agreed of this view and did the same stuff (as far as i know).

Also he removed some dead wires (not functional car security system) etc.

All of this took a whole day but everything got sorted (Apparently).

I would love to hear from you guys as well. Please share you thoughts and any future improvements etc.
For quite some time the fawaara was not working so got the wind screen shower (fawwara) and an other starting issue fixed as well (that turned out to be a "loose taanka" in the distributor/roooter).
