Hi...

I might have sold my khyber, but that hasnt kept me from following this thread.
I miss my ride. I would have loved to keep that car too in parallel to my current ride, but due to limited budgte had to sale it.
Khyber surely is a nice ride. I took so much care of it. All of you must have been aware of its condition and looks.

And ppl do you knw what was i demanding for that ride?

Demand was 365k. Pretty reasonable? Yup but that was almost final.
Finally my khyber got sold in 360k the very first party who came to see the car took it. They came around 6:30pm and by 9pm we were done with the payment and paper work. It was a fast deal

From where can I get a pair in good condition and for how much?
I visited Sultan ka khu a couple of hours ago and a guy there was demanding 1500 for a pair.
Tomorow Inshallah I plan to visit Mithu Khan in Saddar.
Do you know about any shop or person who deals in Khyber,s spares?

i bought original brake pads for 3300rs from waseem autos!now my cars braking is awesome!and the grip of brakes is very cool!it now stops where u want and the tyres does not skid any more!

Nahi yaar not the brake pads.
I need the caliper assembly unit.
Its the thing in which you fit the brake pads.
Its not available in the market anymore so I,ll have to check kabariyas and scrapyards.
Any idea about its availibility and price?

To be honest, i dont have the idea of price. But i would suggest to go for new ones rather than kabuli. I know you will get chinese or taiwanese ones but there are different qualities amongst them.

I would strongly reommend to visit Pakistan Autos in Sultan ka khoo, they will quote you the right price which will be definately lower than what others are asking in the market.

I know the owner of Pakistan Autos.
He is a good guy.
The price he quotes is always reasonable.
The problem is that they are not available in the market anymore.

How can that be? They will be available in a few days then. The stock might be over, but you should have asked when will they be available again.

There is one other shop known as Adnan Autos, should check with him too.

This guy is having very rare items and the genuine ones with excellent quality which are not available anywhere else in the market.
Specially of Khyber as spares of Khyber are not that much easily available now.

When you enter the sultan ka khoo from rawal road (coming from PAF Cinema side). Now take the left which goes to the main market. There will be rims/tyres shops on the left. After crossing those shops you would come across a workshop on the left hand side. As you cross it, you will be able to see Adnan Autos. It is very small shop, so there are chances you might miss it, so be careful"

Salam to all khyberians, Guys i have khyber 97 genuine condition. Now its axels are making wierd noises on turns. Plz recommend me as i am willing to install new ones. Will CHINESE do the job and which brand? or should i buys genuine ones? Plz its urgent!
