Salam to all khyberians, Guys i have khyber 97 genuine condition. Now its axels are making wierd noises on turns. Plz recommend me as i am willing to install new ones. Will CHINESE do the job and which brand? or should i buys genuine ones? Plz its urgent!

It would be better if you go for the genuine ones. (I doubt that they would be available anymore)
The chinese ones work alright.
If you are thinking of getting kabli ones then these chinese ones are a better choice.
Otherwise if you are able to find the genuine ones then that would be great.

I dont think they can be repaired.
You may be able to get used one from Sultan-ka-khu.
Pakistan Autos in Sultan-ka-khu is having the genuine new ones but the price for the side one was around 4k. :-#

The cost of the 2 switches of headlight and parking light on the right hand side of the speedometer is around 4k.
I checked both these items i-e ventilator and light switches from Pakistan Autos in Sultan-ka-khu.
The quality was superb and so was the price. (A)

Yes the prices are very very high.
My Khyber's headlight and parking light switches are also giving problems. You have to press them 3,4 times, only then it works, otherwise they come back to the off position. But as the new one is very expensive, I am not changing it. Plus there is a work around. First press the switch in forward direction (towards your car's front) and then press it inward towards left.

i bought original brake pads for 3300rs from waseem autos!now my cars braking is awesome!and the grip of brakes is very cool!it now stops where u want and the tyres does not skid any more!

Exactly that is how I want my car's brakes to perform. Right now my Khyber is having brake pads from a company "MK". Most of the people use brake pads from this company but I am not satisfied with them. When the car is descending from hills, although I use gears to reduce the speed, even then the brake pads start smelling and they become less effective. You have to press the brake pedal a lot more harder, still the braking is not good enough and you fear that the car will fall at sharp turn.

Can you please tell me that 3300 Rs is the price of brake pads for all the four wheels or just the front ones? And what is the name of the company?

That is a common problem with Khyber,s headlight switch.
It can be fixed.
I know a guy in Sultan-ka-khu who runs his shop by the name of Suzuki House opposite to PSO petrol pump.
The headlight switch of my car was giving the same problem and I got it done from him and its working fine.
The new ones are damn expensive.
If you want more info about him then I can give you his number.
He is a bit expensive but he knows his work very well.
