Today I went to workshop to solve my Car's fuel pump leakage problem.
I consulted 3,4 experienced mechanics and all of them told me to go for electronic pump if your car is on CNG. Reason is the same, in mechanical pumps, a solenoid is placed on fuel pump's output which blocks the fuel supply to carb when the car is on CNG. But the pump keeps working all the time. Whereas in electronic pumps, no need of that solenoid, as the electronic pump will work only when you want to run your car on petrol. It will not work when you are running your car on CNG.
The mechanic told me that all the Mehran, taxi walas have replaced the mechanical pumps with electronic ones. Mostly they use Chinese ones. He also told me that the pump of Suzuki Super Carry works very good on Khyber.
So after making sure which pump to go for, I went to Kiyani Autos Gawalmandi, Rawalpindi. They were having Chinese electronic pump. Its price was 650 Rs. They said that right now we don't have genuine Japanese electronic fuel pump. I went to Waseem Autos and luckily found the genuine Japanese electronic pump for 2000 Rs. It is made by Mitsubishi Japan.

Also bought 5 feet rubber pipe to replace the old cracked pipe. Its made in Taiwan. Price is 40 Rs/foot

Also bought radiator cap. It is made in Japan. Price is 250 Rs.

Fuel filter was also bought as the earlier one was clogged. Fuel tank was also sent to service station for its cleaning. Thanks God, there were no signs of rust, but it contained a lot of impurities which are due to bad quality fuel being sold in Pakistan.
Finally new electronic pump was installed. It is very easy to install. Just connect the pipe coming from fuel tank to pump's input and another pipe will connect pump's output to carb. Give electrical connection to the pump with the same CNG kit wire which was earlier connected with that solenoid.
The new fuel pump is working perfectly now.
