Asalamualikum Dear,
I want to know whats included in the above carburator kit.
My car was giving black smoke, I went to mech to get the carb tuned, he check it thouroughly and the black smoke was reduced but not completely solved.. so He told me to visit a carb repair guy. I went to this guy recommended on forums in pkwheels and his first shot at it was "2000 ka kharcha hey.. butterfly laith per bana kerdalien gey and gari 12 ka average dey gi".
While I tried talking to him to fully check the carb, check float, mixture all vaccum pods / diaphrams and fully restore the carb and put new jets etc.. he said no sirf butterfly ka maslaa hey yeh vaccum pod waghaira kuch nahi hota .. aiesay hi log kehtay hien.
So I was put off by this and came back and did not let him touch the carb. Now I want to check the carb fully my self and replace whatever is needed.
My question again is to those who have seen these carb repair kits, whats included in them, is the butterfuly vavlce also included?
Lets suppose if my vaccum pods have leaks...how do I repair these or where do I find them. If i need to replace certain srpings or if the float is bad or any other part in the carb is bad is it replacable ?
So again whats in the carb repair kit?
