Hello all

I am maintaining liana. the car i was using on CNG non factory fitted. recently car started dropping RPM after sometime of running and when i put on the AC. with this problem I removed the CNG to overcome the problem as guided by mechanic. On petrol now it does not drop RPM,, only drop RPM when AC is on... secondly car does not have good pick and also gives petrol smell from silenser,,,, what can be the reason any one knows that thing has become headache for me

Dear, It happens after you install CNG because of emulator. i have a liana and whaty i do is that i turn ac off when idling. I swithc ac on when car is running.

its ok that it drops RPM on AC (bearable) but why it drops RPM when AC OFF and after some time of running. why it gives petrol smell from silenser

there could be oil in your cng kit ... when you accelerate its fine .. but your car will never be stable at idle if you have oil in the cng kit or your cng tank.

petrol smell means your air/fuel mixture is rich (too much petrol and not all of it is burnt ... i.e. wasting fuel) ... you need to get your engine tuned on petrol then make gas adjustments.

check your O2 sensor wire connection point, may be having black carbon deposites. (Grey joint) did u washed your car?

or else you need computerized tuning go to some good suzuki dealer. check mass air flow sensor condition. your car is not breathing properly, and chocking when getting extra load on idle.

First of all, change your mechanic who guided you to remove CNG to rid of this problem. You need good computerized tuning. Idle rpm, smell of petrol can be cured. Remove oil from CNG kit and tank. Also, how much drop in rpm do you observe? while idling and while running?

whts the mileage on ODO ? I also hav 2006 rxi cng no rpm drop problem even with ac on cng :), get ur throttle body washed and get ur tappets adjusted (if mileage is more than 50k or around 50k). and do wht rest of the people hav guided u.

Use only suzuki genuine air filter.

I don't think mechanics bother with tappet adjustment of an EFI. I may be wrong of course. At least the enercon computer tuning guy didn't do any such adjustment for EFI cars when I was last there.

Liana needs tappets adjustment after 50k kms, It has shim system so the tappet adjustment has to b done on Kharad Machine and it takes around 2 to 3 hours from suzuki it will cost u 3 to 4k and from direct kharad shop its a matter of 1k max. I got my liana's tappets adjusted @ 70k and trust me car felt brand new once again

on idling the RPM drops from 900 to 500 after some time of running....and some time engine off...

the same drop in RPM when i put on AC

Noman i suspect one of your air pipes going or doming from throttle body is removed or not properly fitted. If your car is smelling petrol from silencer n burning loads of fuel then go n get it checked from a good mechanic. further.. when did you last had your car's throttle body serviced.. what your car is doing is called "hunting".. just get your throttle body checked right away..

I have bought Liana RXI 2006 recently. Car is fine ALHUMDULILLAH and only 2 issues I found,
1. A noise comes when I turned on ac.
2. temp. is not mentioning In digital clock (on dash board) showing -- C,

any body can guide about this?

If u have a check engine light then its ur cam swtich sencor i have got the same problem in laina like after the car warm the car sunddley died and wont start antil i have to wait for 15 to 20 muintes to cool down i changed my cam switch sencor and all problems gone
