Suzuki liana 2006 lxi swap from m13a to m18a
In Islamabad

This post is for those people, who are calling liana a crap. The engine used is a bolt on fit for liana since it comes in same chasis in foreign countries, known as Suzuki aerio. The owner for whom i swapped, came from lahore to Islamabad, to me for this swap. And he went back happy, smoking shittys and civics and all those overrated cars...

Yes bro i did myself. And yes cng is also compatible. My car has landi renzo cng kit. So it gives 135km with ac in local on cng of 1000rs

Yar mere abu, ne cng ki wiring replace karwai kehte use karunga. Halank i was against.
Jab cng pr chalai literally motorway pe touched 160 on cng and reborn wagera ko cross par rahay thay cng pe xD.

And thandiani almost half rasta cng pe chalai, it was going good even on uphill.
I personally hate cng. So my father uses it in between sometimes.

So cng use karna is totally your choice.
Baki I am using 5w30 molygen oil. There's no consumption of oil or anything even on cng.
Everyone is saying to go to 5w40 but i am not changing it. Anyone wants to use it more on cng should use 5w40 fully synthetic in it.

It was bad . Gasket change hui wi thi, and dubara phir kharab ho chuki hui thi.

BTW what did u do about the ecu? Same M13A ecu? Or new M18A one? And if u used the older one, does it cause any issue? There was no VVT in the M13A, but it is there in M18A.

Also, what else did u change? Exhaust, injectors throttle body etc?

M13A did come with VVT but not in Pakistan. I had a liana previously with VVT M13A engine. VVT required new ECU and i didnt buy it, but that engine had better response than non-vvt MA13A

Nope it doesn't give you any issue.
Just changed the injectors.

Rest exhaust ports are same, and so are intake ports no difference in them. And throttle body of m18a is very slightly large. Like if m13 is 18mm so m18a it's around 21mm. So you can use m13a throttle for your life.

Only thing you need to replace is injectors.

Rest vvt is your choice. You've to spend 5k on computer. Baki vvt has its benefits but they're not that important, like engine can run without valve overlapping, without being damaged for like 100+k and 3-4 years.

Yeah exactly.
So i have no plans changing ecu.
Liana m18a ecu has immobilizer so you can use m16a ecu vvt.
Or you can be on this ecu.
