Yeah possible for swift too.
But zero availability of m18a... Now adays
Only m15/16 are available

another liana bites dust liana's engine is much more sturdy than what youve put it. dont believe me? a guy has driven 2lac plus kms on his stock liana engine.

But swaps like this are a clear sign of lack of knowledge and lack of interest in the car.

Brothers I am swapping my liana old genuine locally assembled engine with m13a japanese vvt engine. I need some advice whether my old ecu will support this vvt engine or not. Can anyone please guide ?

Your engine will support it. Vvti can't be activated on same ecu and we've used vvti and seen its not a major difference wrt to cost. Like for vvt activation ur total budget required will be 17-20k. So if u can pay extra then get new ecu else drive with same ecu, there won't be any problem.

Most of the swapped cars have stock old ecu's and they're running like a charm.
