Is Suzuki Liana a good option for careem?

No bhai. Liana will not suit u due to its fuel consumption. WagonR is the best...if u wanna opt for sedan..go for city

6th year of ownership of Liana. M13a engine is never an economical engine - same goes for Swift too having same engine. Cultus Efi on cng is best car considering it comes in a low budget, very good car on cng. otherwise if budget is not an issue and excellent fuel economy on petrol is required then go for a bit used Cultus (new shape/model) or Paki WagonR or the new Alto 660cc. for Uber/Careem only that car will be successful which gives least per-km of running costs.

and my czn tells me i can get older vitz 99.. or 2004(fully sprayed) in this budget too.. is that a better option?

If you are going to drive car yourself, you should opt for an automatic transmission and my suggestion is 2007 vitz. You can easily find it for 10 lacs on Pakwheels.
More comfy, more roomy, better suspension, automatic transmission, good fuel economy and a wonderful AC.

If this is your first car then decide carefully. My first car was brand new honda city and i hated why i spent 2 million on it. I could've bought lots of other cars.

And parts liana k bhi expensive he hain. Buy vitz because its imported, with automatic transmission and good road grip with ABS brakes and power staring. Knocking i don't think vitz main hai. I had belta and it used to knock. But was still better than any manual transmission car out there in market.

Vitz has good fuel economy and has all the basic features you need in a car. Don't chose a manual transmission, opt for an automatic one. If you want a sedan, then belta is a good option too. But it has sluggish response time and knocking issue. Otherwise its a good family car. It has low resale too. I bought one for 12 lacs and sold it for 8.25 lacs.

I guess my options are probable vitz or cultus... automatic vs manual.. expensive vs cheap!
Btw i will be driving for careem as well.. i hope vitz won't be that difficult to maintain as compared to cultus!

For careem...cultus is preferable...better mileage ane newer.

If you'll drive on careem, you definitely need an automatic transmission. Because you're going to drive a lot.

From when did vitz had good fuel average? If you intend to drive for commercial purpose (uber/careem) cultus efi suits u best as advised by @abid110 bhai never look for vitz for commercial purpose. Rest its your decision.

In this budget the only available automatic options are Daihatsu coure & alto g2...but they're both less spacious than cultus!

Btw what is the parts situation on alto g2? Are they significantly expensive than cultus?

Vitz has poor average and has only good shape actually. Engine is not frustratingly vibrating... Cultus is best in mileage reliable as newer and suits careem business as well.
