ok guys so i bought all parts from bilal gunj. as parts central were unable to source them at the moment.i got kaabli japanese parts.i am sharing the prices to help other liana owners in case they need to buy these parts.
Ignition coils 6000 a pair japanese.
Power steering rack 11000 japanese
Z links 2000 a pair japanese
Front shocks complete 7500 japanese
Balance Rod Bush 500
Chimta (Control arm) both sides 6500 a pair
i am getting this replacement done from suzuki authorised dealers. They inspected the parts and confirmed that none of the parts were repaired and were original japanese. So i was relieved.The only thing was 1 of the ignition coil they mentioned looked weaker.They will check it after replacing them once suspension work is complete.
1 question i wanted to ask was that when i shut down the car and then try to start it. it starts but keeps shutting down. i have to keep pressing the accelerator pedal to prevent it from shutting down.once it starts driving it behaves fine but again if i shut down the engine and then try to start it, this engine shutting down starts happening again. Now i went to suzuki for replacement job but initially i took the car after buying to a mechanic suggested by my good friend to check any works needed to be done to the car.He advised all these replacements for which i had quoted the prices above.That Mechanic said it was due to ignition coils that is why i am going to replace those and also as part of maintainence.
Do u guys believe the culprit are faulty ignition coils?
Now when i discussed this issue at suzuki dealers, One mechanic at suzuki service centre seemed to agree with it while another one was not sure about it. we will find out eventually once coils are replaced.i wanted ur opinion on this if the problem is not resolved so that i dont have to spend money on needless replacements.
