Suzuki Liana RXI ignition coil

Baleno was more prone to this issue with shorted coils as the coils were exposed. Liana's coils are exposed to water only when you wash the engine with pressurized water I think; they are covered and the cover even has a rubber gasket.

still dun HV a proper and to why Suzuki coils get heat up....iz Dr any geniue way widout doing alteration....cost must b f9 wotever is it...the only thing is product must available in pak, provide great result after installation & what plugs should use in higher compression dohc engines?

Recently came across a guy having complain of baleno coil failure frequently the problem with his car was that the coil wires were leaking current and the guy was change coils only

I ended up replacing the coils of my Liana RXI 2006 due to misfire problem however my mistake was that I didn't check the coils outside separately. They were fine and the actual culprit was a pair of leaking fuel injectors. Fuel would pool up in the cylinders from those leaking injectors overnight and the next morning when I used to start the car, it would almost always start on two cylinders and would misfire every now and then due to one of the two leaking injectors leaking fuel heavily. I have that pair of denso coils lying with me at home now in my garage whereas YEC ones that I purchased from market are currently installed in my car.

Japanese or chinese? How much

Japanese or chinese? How much

YEC is a Japanese brand. I got them for 9K (4.5K each). But I've noticed that they work as good as the Denso ones that I took out from my car in the first place. So I decided to leave the YEC ones in and keep the Denso ones as a backup policy. I might sell them if a friend asks for them though as they are 100% OK.

I ve also had the same problem with my ignition coil.I went to the mechanic and he checked the coils and just replaced a coil lead which made theengine run smoother and the mileage and acceleration of the car improved dramatically .So i suggest you change your coil leads .
Another suggestion is to take your car to an electrician and tell him to reset your cars ECU
