Hi All,
Can i anyone tell me about the Genuine Tyre size of Margalla was it 165/70-13 or 155/80-13? Also please advise if i can get installed TAP in Margalla for CNG or it is just for EFI cars? Thanks all for your help.

The orignal tyre size for Marglla was 145/R70/13 or 145/R80/13. I am sure about 145 but not sure about R 70 or R 80. TAP is for EFI and not for carby engines.Marglaa runs good on CNG with timing advnce manually through the screw slot adjustment. However when you will run it on petrol it the engine will knock due to this advanced timing. Secndly the air passage from filter to carburator is blocked by 1/3. On petrol this will result in rich air/fuel mixture. The fuel consumption will be more and car will emit a balckish smoke. After these modifications it is better to run on CNG and very less on petrol. HOwever to keep the fuel system running once a week small run petrol is good.

a litle correction mics420, TAP is used in carby as well as EFI vehicles, but emulator is specifically used for EFI vehicles only.

@Robin, you are right, its my mistake. TAP is available for carby engines with electronic distribution and not for carbys with mechanical distribution. Margalla has electronic distribution therefore it can take TAP. Actually its been quite sometime since I have used the CNG car so things are getting rusty. Thanks for the correction and please correct me again if I am still wrong.

TAP are available for both Efi and Carby ones but here we only find Efi Advancer rather than Carby ones....Carby ones just advances coil spark so it can burn out CNG(Methane) with heavy long spark resulting in good maintained speed at Low RPMS....also increases CNG milage....
margalla company size will be i think 155/70 r13.....145 is bit thicker for it....

What is this TAP? I have knocking problem in my margalla both on gas as well as petrol at low rpm, can i be solved through proper tunning that is advancing the timing for long spark so that methane gas can be burned?

hello!
as i know....car does'nt knock on CNG...never....it was something more...maybe u need to say that ur car jiggling on Low rpms means jerk off...yes this can be settled with proper seeting and some degrees Advanced.....TAP is "Timing Advanced Processor" used for advanced and retire timing...this device automatically work as u did'nt need to adjust it....
