try to get out of Gujjar Khan/Mandra/Rawat/Chak Bailee areas brother.... Suzuki produces same quality stuff as Nissan. In some instances they are far better.

Outside Pakistan, lets compare a pathfinder with vitara. Vitara quality seem way ahead of nissan. Liana has far better quality then the Sunny here. Seeing is believing. If you can show me one nissan engine which can be compared with G16B, I'll glad.

I think most of the people are just commenting on the above incomplete information and not reading the article.

This is not a merger it is a joint production agreement in Brazil and Russia...not in Pakistan. So please read the article before you reply.

I think both companies will benefit from this deal as one will cut its costs while the other increases its profit.

what answer does suzuki has for RB26 and nissan are specialists in diesels.
poor vitara has to borrow a diesel engine from ford/mazda to offer a diesel variant.
also X trail has way better reviews than vitara.

For ur kind information Suzuki Grand Vitara is considered to be best Small SUV in the world........ Goto asian auto, car review.com and find it urself. It is far better than other suvs in its class like rav4 etc............

Tell me any nissan car in comparision with Suzuki SX4 Rally Edition........ man 2.0L giving 320BHP..... burps

I'm not against Nissan nor any other brand but X-Trail is one helluva flop. If you look at auto reviews, they'll say the best ever car from Japan is Mazda 6, which is one helluva big mishap.

I've tried it first hand myself and I hope you might be able to come soon to UAE on trip and I can show you around. We can arrange test drives for any car except Exotics ofcourse and you'll know what quality means.

The latest Pathfinder and Ramada (or watever they call it) has to be seen to believe how poor plastic and quality is introduced. The Altima is way beyond expectation. I know some ppl who after keeping Altima for few months switched to Accords.

Grand Vitara has quality which even surpasses that of Pajero and Prado. The Liana 2.3ltr Sport, when I saw, I was shocked how well build it was and almost 10K less than similar equiped nissan.

As for RB26 is concerned, I was talking about the 1.6 ltr, not the big ones. G16B is sweet, believe me. I never believe until unless I drove one.

To cut it short, never under estimate anyone.

i think u know me good enough to vouch for my unbiased and impartial opinions.

i am not underestimating suzuki but i might end up overrating nissan. i think they have acheived more feats than suzuki.
then again these are my opinions.

BTW Xtrail was europes best suv for 2004.

Suzuki maybe a Legendary car maker the world over, specially for the U.S.A but their product Mehran's finish is so pathetic these days that Adam's Revo feels like a queen in front of it, I have a VXR CNG mehran brand new these days with me and believe me friends, the carpet and inside plastics are worst than the plastics used in chinese C grade toys, you got to see it to believe it.
Carpet doesnt stay cause the hooks have broken and is so thin it goes under the seat, that day i thought it was the cleaning cloth under the seat lol.

your fast baleno has got a G13B not a G16B. only 1999 model was available in a G16B 1.6 version but it was discontinued after a few months of production due to incapabilities of pak suzuki

Well Well well... Too much of nissan and suzuki !
The first thing I want to tell everyone is that u cannot compare suzuki to nissan its like comparing a rat to a bulldog.

Let me tell u y.

1st of all Nissan builds car that are bigger and more powerful.
Nissan Builds its own enignes to date.
Nissan builds luxury cars too like the Infinity.

On the other hand Suzuki is big in Japan and not that big in the rest of the world (dont include pak).
Suzuki has always made small and economical cars. They are professionals in small engines. Thats what they do best.

But bigger engines these days they get it from GM.
The Chevorlet Epica and the Suzuki Verona are identical cars. So are the Suzuki Forenza and the Chevorlet Optra.
The Grand Vitara is a good suv. Nissan X-trail is BIG in europe. While the Suzuki Vitara is BIG in US.

The Suzuki Swift is an excellent car. it is 1.5L suzuki Engine. It has won many wards. Including the European car of the year in 2005.

So u see no need for comparison.
Nissan is the 3rd Largest car maker in the world after GM and Toyota. So Suzuki is a much smaller company for that matter. If Nissan & Suzuki have an alliance to buld some economical cars then both of them will benefit. Just like the Renault-Nissan alliance that has done wonders for both companies so far.

Suzuki is third largest automaker of Japan, behing Toyota and Honda. U people underestimating suzuki 2 much. If nissan is producing luxury cars this doesnt mean its a huge company, take an example of Bentley, Rolls Royce etccccccc...............

GM has collaboration with Suzuki. They have a joint plant at Canada named CAMI. In which suzuki and GM are making vehicles for each other. Some of GM vehicle are equipped with Suzuki brand engines and some of Suzuki vehicles are equipped with GM brand chassis. Take an example of Suzuki Grand Vitara- Chevrolet Trakker. But originally vitara is suzuki product and and suzuki is making trakker for GM.

Sorry I was talking about nissan being 3rd largest becoz
of the Nissan_Renault alliance and output of cars these 2 produce each year. For your kind info. Renault has a 40% stake in Nissan. So somewhat Renault owns Nissan so these 2 bcome the 3rd largest automobile if combined together. And if GM_Nissan_Renault talks would not have failed then Nissan would have been the Largest manufacturer in the world. Plz get ur info. correct as Ford is the one thats is not even in the top 5 ...
