Suzuki & nissan are one company now

2 dayz ago i was reading a newspaper DAWN & i saw that Nissan & Suzuki are one comapny now. God knows wht will happen now. wht do u think that wht types of cars they will make?

Yaar yeh donon combine nahein huin bas they will produce vehicles for each other, just like Suzuki-GM collaboration, as Suzuki made Chevrolet Cruze for GM.

yaar we disregard suzuki but i have seen many in foreign countries too, if its not a good car y they buy suzuki there. the ppl have even got better options there.

Actually suzuki ka name suntay hi sab kay dimagh main mehran, alto, etc jesi ghatia garion ka khiyaal aata hay. But bhaiyo keep in mind yeh PakSuzuki hay suzuki nahein. Aap logoan ko pata hay America main sab say best warranty kis company ki hoti hay jee haan woh koi aur naehin suzuki hay 100,000 Miles / 7 Yearsssssssss. And in japan suzuki is the largest maker small passenger cars. Swift ko tou aatay hi patah naehin kitnay awards mill chukay hain.........

both companies will equally benifit from each others' expertise. Suzuki has a reputation of making cheap feul efficient cars ( I m Not talking abt Pak-Suzuki here) Nissan qualifies fir giid luxury cars. i hope we see a combination og economy and luxury.
In my opinion, with the russian market as a primary target there will be a very little or no noticeable effect on the palkistani market. Mehran wud still be selling at premiums and we'd be happy to buy crap even then

100% agreed with. Atleast Paksuzuki ka kuch nahein ho sakta, yeh waisy ki waisy hi rahay gee. Why Paksuzuki is not manufacturing such a wonderful cars like Kie, Ignis, MRwagon etc............ Before 2 days i have seen a Japan Assembled Kie (used) and that car is exceptional 100000% times better than ALTO...... Its bigger, looks heavier, more beautiful, good interior and in 1.0L category wonderful.... so why paksuzuki is not introducing it......

This is just one collobaration and its nothing new. Suzuki's been providing engines & platforms to Honda and Mazda from its famed Capuccino, I think Nissan also had one based on it.

One thing should be remembered, the best japanese engine makers are Honda & Suzuki, the rest follows.

U r right! Honda produced best engines for midsize/luxury vehicles whereas suzuki produced best engines for small/compact vehicles. Take an example of Grand Vitara its simply the best small SUV in the world.

nissan recovered from near bankruptcy and is now a progressive company. its a miracle made possible by carlos ghosn from renault.
also, japanese affiliations apart, nissan has a very diverse and rich history. suzuki cannot be a good associate for them, they are poles apart.

i will discuss it in detail once i get back on my PC.
