Make sure you use engine oils which are catalyst safe in these cars, as the local oils would lead to choking of the catalytic converter which is pretty expensive.
As far as the plugs are concerned, what matters is using the plug with the correct code and heat range, every plug that fits isn't essentially the correct one.
I think the stingray takes IXUH22I#4, not sure though.
Another common mistake in these cars is that most of them need much higher tire pressure recommended then what we were used to since the last 30 years i.e. 30 psi. The correct value is written on the side of the driver door, a unit conversion would be required from kpa to psi. This has a significant effect on the performance, economy and handling of the car.
