Suzuki Swift Automatic VS JDM ( Daihatsu Mira or VITZ)

I have a cuore manual , but I have used it for 9 years. Its in good condition but now I want to buy an automatic car. My budget could stretch to 14.5 including registeration of the car.

I have three options Suzuki Swift 1.3 L Automatic , vitz and mira.

Please suggest me the best car amongst the three .

I made up my mind for vitz 2011 model but some people say they are accidented that they are cheaper in Pakistani market, and I have no experience of buying a JDM at all. Same goes for mira , please advice some good dealers in Lahore.

Swift is a good car , but i heard it has some issues. Like after a few months its seat foam gets depressed ( aka Gadda beth jaata hai) . Why is this? Some say its performance in comparison to vitz is pathetic.

I need a small car , as my garage doesnt have more space. I already have aspire 1.5 L prosmatec and 2012 Xli.

And one more thing , the cars body should be tough and strong . I know vitz is very strong but what about swift and mira?

Considering the fact that you own two PKDM cars , it's better if you opt for vitz.
BTW vitz 2011 model is new shape and it will cost you 14+ excluding registration. so it will exceed your budget and it is usually 3.5 grade , my personal choice will be Vitz 1.3 2010 > Swift 1.3 > Mira

If you are going the JDM route then contact @Sharabhi on http://www.facebook.com/groups/375771389142771/ then you don't have to worry about the car being accidented/repaired/high mileage etc.

p.s a 2010 model Vitz will set you back 12lakhs.

I can spend a few more bucks , but i dont like the older vitz models.

5-x corolla 2007
6-altis 2009 old shape.

all of the above fall in your range..... the city and xli even fall under the better feul average category

Go for swift...
a NEW car...
but if you have trusted JDM seller, go for vitz, since your parking space is limited, or go for Mira....a nice small car with full options and good mileage...

I would prefer swift but I have never ever used a suzuki . But i have seen the low quality interior of alto and cultus. Will Swift be better than that? and on pw, I read a thread that swifts car had foam has lost its retention so he got a new seat!! This should not happen in 14 lac car

Sir, go for a full option Toyota Vitz 2008-9 model... It will be economical, luxurious and something to be proud of...
I won't suggest you swift since My friend has one and he says the only benefit is it's a new car and he will sell it in a year or so... (Suzuki kharak jati hai :tried and experienced)
Mira? please don't go for this car... Very fragile in case of (Allah na karey kabhi ho) accident...

You can also have a look at the new model of Passo Toyota... do not have any information on that model, looks good though...

Sir, we are using swift from last 1 and half year, its going v good, the only problem is its mileage...it doesnt give good mileage 12~13 only sometimes even low...
anyhow BOL for your new purchase...

thanks for the advice mate but to be honest . I had never considered vitz as a beautiful car but since I saw the 2011 model , I deided to buy a vitz so I plan to buy . I will buy the latest model only
