how do you get to know that catalytic converter has been catalytic converter? Pickup of my car is quite good.

Filter is fine,spark plugs has been recently changed non iridium i bought it from suzuki central motors and the only thing i am left with is throttle body service

Guys, I have a quick question does suzuki swift have a fuel filter that we need to replace. I tried to search online but found out that its a one unit where fuel filter is a part of fuel pump.

All I am trying to see that do we need to replace a fuel filter in swift or not.

Suzuki dealership should be able to do it. Also, youtube has lots of videos to check the catalytic converter. That should help.

Salam everyone,

so yesterday I went to Suzuki I10 showroom for a diagnosis and estimate. First a guy told me yes it could be an issue with cat converter and that should be cleaned as well as Throttle body as well. cost for both around 6k which was fine so I said lets do it.

Then one of their head mechanic came and took the car for a drive and said that the clutch plates are done and I should get them replaced as thats the main issue. I then asked how is he sure he pushed the car in second gear and said if you are in 2nd gear and the rpm is around 3k and 4k the car should be touching 60 to 80KM. My car was doing 70KM at that point, so I said it looks fine and then he said no clutch plates are missing due to which this is happening. Long story short they gave me an estimate of total around 35k which included replacement of everything.

I thought might as well get the cat converter cleaned so I did not from suzuki but from another place. It did look a big clogged so after getting that cleaned car is a bit more responsive now. Still not sure about the mileage but I did fill the tank with 50 50 ratio of high octane and normal petrol and even put a STP injector cleaner.

Lets see what results I get. Last tank gave me 350km. I will update the thread once I see any improvement

So after 2 tanks car is still getting worse day by day now. I am at 300km no matter how I drive it. Last weekend I had my car washed and noticed that the clutch is getting hard and after 10 mins of driving I heard something broke while I pressed the clutch and then car went into netural.

The Slave clutch has a plastic bit that is connected on top of the gear box which broke but then after some adjustment it started working but the car wouldn't go in gear. It showed that car is in 1st gear but if you let off the clutch nothing happened. That mechanic said clutch plate and pressure plate is done and I should get them fixed. But again same question if it was clutch plate then how come it just went like that, as it suppose to show signs like missing and all that.

So I took it to one of my mechanics and he made some adjustments in the clutch and then it would start going in gear. long story short I had to get the slave cylinder changed and that fixed it.

I am still try to figure out if issues is my clutch plates. 2 of the mechanics I spoke with say that your clutch plates are perfect and there is nothing wrong with it. It was just an issue with slave cylinder due to the power wash I had it caused it to snap.

Any suggestions from experts would be great. I have tried pushing my car in every way to find a small lag or glitch to see if its clutch plates but nothing shows that is. If anyone knows of any tricks or good mechanics in ISB then please do let me know.

Bought 10 model a month b4. Was getting 13-11.5 in city with 100%ac. Today I went for a round trip to isb. Got fueled from zoom thoker. And came back and filled again. It got filled with 34.38 liters till nose. Total driven kms were 640 . Which includes 75kms of extra urban situation.
So alhamdulilah it's a question for those eho say it's a petrol sipper.
