Stick to it bro.
Mashallah its been 1.5years on my m18a with 180psi compression. Without any hassle or problems.and nissan is also going good on 5w30. City aspire is on 5w30. Civic, altis and many cars of my circle and vicinity are on this. Even one guy has 5w20 in his nissan 2005 and he says its going good..

which lm 5w30 is better for swift ? top tec 4200 or special tec?

Toptec 4200 or molygen both are best for your swift.

Special tec is also not bad either.
Moving to molygen gave me 1kmpl eco increase.
That's the benefit i got from moving from special tec to molygen.. And molygen and toptec are of same category, get either one of them.

But then what about the temperature chart given in the manual for the selection of engine oil? According to the chart, till 30 degree outside temperature, xw-30 can be used and for temperatures above 30 degree, xw-40 should be used

Isn't it 3.5 without filter and 3.7 with filter? 4 litre is a bit more

Ideally u shud in Pak environment. However some car makers do skip filter change abroad. They have a cleaner environment

I am using 5W30 of Suzuki in my Swift. As per sticker in bonnet recommended oil is 10W40. What will happen if I switch to it after some 17000 Kms in terms of effects on engine life and economy? Suzuki obtains both from Total I guess. Please suggest. Thanks

economy would be reduced just a little bit, but otherwise there would not be any affect on engine.

If 5w-30 is working fine, you may continue using it.

That 10w-40 sticker is general, and is affixed by Pak Suzuki in almost all of their cars, irrespective of caste, gender, creed, religion, etc. Do not worry about it.

They even affix the very same sticker with old API ratings in PKDM Brand new 660 cc Alto, which basically requires 0w-20 in it.

I have poured in SGO Deluxe 10W40 API SM anticipating summers and both my previously used SGO Efficient 5W30 API SN and this one being Semi Synthetic. So far seems similar in economy and apparent engine sound.
