Yes, it's normal! The ABS module has sensors located near each wheel. As soon as the Sensor notices that a tire is slipping when braking hard ( Emergency, Snow, Mud etc) it starts pumping your brakes for you- Gazzillion times each second.
Swift is a good car, it has all the goodies and is practical.
Once I was driving in a muddy place and ABS check light came on. I thought to myself " Ohh eff this, gotta spend an hour or so at 3S trying to get this fixed" as soon as I touched a proper road, the light came off. Alhamdulillah, with the help of Allah SWT and ABS brakes, I've avoided many donkeys suddenly appearing and what not!
