Hi guys.

Is Swift's AC's performance same as or close to Honda City's?
I have a feeling that my Refrigerant could be on the low side- The cooling is chilling, but only if I keep my hand on the vent lol.
What should I get done and from where? Can AC Refrigerant be filled without draining the old Refrigerant out? Should I visit 3S?

Check coolant. I have gone 4 years without an A/C service or gas top up.

Only regular cabin filter changes.

Was surprised to find AC die on me a few days back, found out that I was out of coolant.

Topped up with a litre of coolant, back to normal.

The best green coolant I have ever come across is fuchs prediluted.
I bit hard to find tho...

You can pour SOME distilled water in the spare bottle but dont let the ratio go below 30% coolant.

Try to find FUCHS coolant. they have two varieties. 100% (orangeish in color) and 40% prediluted (green in color).

Visit any Hascol pump and they should have it.
Pour in the green one (40% concentration prediluted) directly. No worries there.

Stay away from water or NASA/OSAKA crap.

^Done, FUCHS it is. I will fill until it reaches half of my reservoir bottle, then check after like 10-15 KM. Don't wanna overfill

The honda coolant has been superb i never had to fill anything in 2 years ...awesome and clean radiator

Guys,

My swift dlx has done 4000 KMS and the fuel economy is 9-9.5 KM/liter. This is very annoying. Everything is stock. Can you suggest what to do?

It will improve after 5-7k kms once u get the 5k kms service done. Also check tyre pressure and keep it atleast 30 for front (max is 33 psi for front and 30 for rear).

Radiator was replaced by Auto Club in Islamabad...Hmmph!
I am not 100% sure, but I will upload a video soon:(
Seems like, a Radiator flush will have to commence. Oh yes!

Oh..
Thats not good. No need for flushing. Drain from the t-bolt on the bottom of the radiator. Fill coolant and start car until air bubbles stop coming out of the top. Now you can close your cap and takr your car for a short trip. Keep an eye on the temperature needle for 2-3 days and you're good to go!

Are you sure that I do not have to fiddle with urrm the Thermostat valve and other gizmos?
I hope it is straightforward. Manual is downloading and video is uploading. There was steam coming out of the Radiator hole, So I must assume it was water!
