True. 11 with AC, 12-12.5 without AC in city; on motorway it is a approximately above 17-18. Also depends on your driving style, if you push it, it will definitely give lesser mileage. You can blame less mileage on the peppy motor, always wants you to push it to the red line :P.
To the Vitz guys trolling the thread, the harder suspension actually makes the Swift quite stable on highway speeds. I've done 160-170 on my 195/65/15 Yokohamas and it does have solid road grip; lane changes are pretty controlled. Love the satisfying engine/gear change sound at higher revs.
There is the issue of squeaking doors and panels, but that is after the car has covered quite some miles on our shitty roads; and to be very honest, every PKDM suffers from quality issues.
