Used it in another car. Its decent. Most popularly used is Caltex gear oil

I have done enough research on all Chinese and branded systems available in market. My honest advice to you is to not go for any system. The Alpine CD player and audio system is best for daily life need unless you really want a reverse camera. Reason is that all good branded systems do not come with panel. There are some Chinese brands like Rock Mars, Premier and Delson etc, they are coming with panels but after 6 to 7 months, you will start hearing noise caused by loose panel.

I have a Rockmars in my 2013 Civic for last 18 months. It has been a good experience and as of till today there has not been a single issue regarding any noise or malfunction.
