well honestly I was using SGO for first 10,000 Kms but not satisfied with that oil. I change that after 5,000 KMs.

after that I shifted to Fully synthetic by considering the recommended API and Viscosity as per manual

Here is the manual recommendation for for M13A Liana engine which almost the same as your Swift engine. You can see that for severe conditions, oil and filter change interval is 5k km or 4 months. Look for similar entry in user manual you have.

Engine oil change after 4 months? Are they serious? No need to waste your money on changing oil after every 4 months. Oils can not expire this fast. Only change if you actually drove the car to 5000 KM. I have even used 1.5 year old oil (car was rarely used) and it was still like new. Do not listen to what these parasites say. They tell these things to increase their own revenue.

Yeah "shelf life". Most oils sold by spare parts shops are often several months old. As long as oil is in sealed bottle, nothing happens to it even if it is 2 years old. Just shake the bottle or turn it upside down before pouring to mix the settled additives.

But if oil is in engine and use is high, oil should be changed on regular intervals.

Humbly disagree bro. You may choose to do whatever seems better to you but going against manual is seldom recommended. No one knows better than OEM.

Manual didn't mention anywhere which brand to use. They just mentioned API grade and Viscosity

Yup. User manual is "Asmani Sahifa". NEVER go against it.

Poured Mobil 1000. And Korean filters. With iridium plugs made by toyota worth 950/- each

P.S Toyota didn't make the spark plugs they just repack with their own label as suzuki does.

Brand name is not an issue. Issue is exceeding manual specified limits where oil manufactures advise to follow OEM limits.
You may choose whatever suits you. No one can object to your decisions.

I wouldn't be satisfied if I were you. My Liana with similar engine to your car does 14+ quite often in city traffic with AC. If my 10 year old, heavier, 113k km driven can manage 14+ then at least, you should get similar mileage.
