That's what I was trying to explain here. 3s are pure looters. They use same guard filters in this packing of Suzuki and people pay 5 times more just to buy same product which is easily available in market. That's why no one goes to Suzuki to buy parts. A radiator cap is quoted for 1700 rupees whereas a best quality Japanese one is easily available for 250 at each and every corner of every city. Buying from 3s is like burning your money. 1400 ka air filter dete hain mehran ka jab k me ne apni poori life me 300 se upar ka kahin nahi dekha filter of mehran.

Yes. High quality Cultus radiator cap (made in japan) is for 250 - 350 rupees from market. I went to buy fuel cap and 3S workshop people quoted me 1700 rupees for the piece of plastic and said prices are fixed. Went to Montgomery road Lahore and bought Taiwanese cap (with valve) for 400 rupees.

Thats true. Yesterday went to suzuki 3S for timing belt change for my Mehran, they quoted 4100 PKR for timing belt bearing. Bahar se 780 ka liye mene or 400 ki belt jo k suzuki walay 1050 ki de rahay thay. Bought the parts from outside and got em changed from suzuki. Loot machaii hui hai inhon ne.

The so called "genuine" timing belt is just the same that you buy from market. But there would be hell a lot of price difference between the one you buy from market and one from 3S.

Yes bro 100% correct that its all personal preference. But what me and others are trying to say here (already discussed a zillion times all over pakwheels) is to get 100% best quality, equal to or more than the quality of parts sold by 3s, at 80-85% less prices from the open market's good car part vendors. Its just for the benefit of general car user who doesn't know much about part selection etc. And its all out of experiences with our own maintenance histories and part search adventures. Its NEVER like k 3s k parts direct jannat se aatay hain aur baqi sab jehannami nain 3s walay keeps 300% profit easily on same part they buy from open market and sell in their packing. And most of the time 3s just asks you to leave your car and you enjoy the hi-tea they have for you. And client almost never knows which part is installed and from where was it sourced. In Karachi there are many vendors I personally know to whom 3s comes for parts.

Here is the manual recommendation for for M13A Liana engine which almost the same as your Swift engine. You can see that for severe conditions, oil and filter change interval is 5k km or 4 months. Look for similar entry in user manual you have.

Your picture doesn't have the Severe condition code key in it.
Below is the picture of the same page with the SCC key taken from a Swift Manual.

As my car falls into the A category, it's safe to use engine oil for upto 8k kms.
Moreover, the grade of Engine Oil (if good quality) can easily be used upto 10 to 15 thousand kilometers.

It's a matter of choice really.

I am changing engine oil after 10k kms in my swift with genuine Suzuki oil filter. Using Liqui Moly Fully Synthetic 5W40

Just bought 2010 silver. Alhamdulilah car is nice as per model. It's 98k kms driven. Bumpers are also in genuine paint. But due to weather or whatever head lamps r not in good situation. Got them polished from johar town market. But still are dull at night. Kindly help

are you sure it is dull due to headlight glass? have you tried to change stock bulb?

Its made by Denso and the part numbers are following:

Upper: 18213-63J01
Lower: 18213-63J12

You can get it from AE around 3 to 5K.
From 3S its around 16K.
