My experience with Suzuki 3S is opposite. We bought a Mehran Euro II in 2015 as a third car and its front wheel bearings gave up just after 15,000 Kms. Changed the bearings from local market with a hydraulic press and they are working fine. The car ODO reads 30,000 Kms at the moment. Even if they last same as 3S ones, the price difference is more than 3 times. A friend had to change Swift 2016 brake pads just after 16,000 Kms. I installed KOYO Japan bearings in my daily runner Khyber and they lasted four years.
Bought another Mehran zero meter last month for my sister and to my horror I saw its roof leaking during the last rain spell. The stepney area was full of water. The sun visors are attached with only one screw although there is a place for two. Took it to Suzuki Azam motors and they said these screws are not available.
Pak Suzuki quality is worst these days. The inner roof of the new Mehran is wrinkled and uneven at many places, open at the borders. The dashboard compartment lid has extra plastics at the edges. Very much disappointing. This is the condition of company fitted new OEM parts, you can imagine the quality of parts they use afterwards.
