Guys where can i get geniune Suzuki Oil filter in Lahore ..other than the 3s workshops as they are reluctant to sell only oil filter .. They say that i have a record of only buying oil filters from them and not the oil .. and now they wont give one without the other ..
I purchased ONLY FILTER (OIL, AIR) from Suzuki dealership many time, because I use other oil with SUZUKI Genuine Filters. they never hesitated in selling only FILTERS.

This has been discussed a lot of times here on forums about Guard products (made in Pakistan). And its also mentioned various times that local Japanese automakers use Guard products in their own printed boxes. See another example here when once again I went to Suzuki for my oil change and got this fitted. The oil filter is of Guard packed in Suzuki Genuine Part packing.

Original Suzuki filter price is 961 RS.
Filter got in. So I could not snap it. Its just for reference purposes. I am using guard products since decades in all my cars. And pak Suzuki uses all guard products. The paki one (Guard) is of this price and Japanese imported ones are for ten times the price. Its ones decision how much he is willing to pay for this
The packing is original Pak Suzuki one and bought from Suzuki showroom. It contain a part number too. Means it can safely be termed as a 'Genuine Part'.
I always purhase from dealership and they give genuine filter imported one.
You should change dealership and complain to Pak Suzuki about this dealership
If they are selling low quality filter in low price with original packing then it's customer's fault who is buying this.
One should know the price of imported one and do not buy low quality from dealership
Also this filter seems to be for mehran. Not for swift.
thats the point - this is original filter and sold by all dealerships in Pakistan. you accept it or not but Guard makes OEM products for these companies. there is nothing to complain. and secondly i use this same filter in all my cars from Mehran till Liana and no issues. again, it comes down to what a person is willing to buy at what price. i am sure the same quality filter if found 'made in Germany' then we will be willing to pay 5000 for it. and we do not accept the fact that we Pakistanis can produce good products too of OEM standards. facts are facts bro and the part number is an endorsement that Pak Suzuki accepts it as an OEMproduct. i am definitely not a representative of Guard but just making it clear that this company do produce excellent stuff and a very trusted brand since decades in Pakistan. we can say its cheap to buy but by no means it is of inferior quality.
Bhai aap ghalat hein maan lein I am also buying Genuine Oil filter from Suzuki Carachi Motors and they are selling genuine Japan one for the same price as mohsan87 has said U r a customer of some 2 NUMBER 3S or may be the city u belong has all 2 number 3sPrinting some part number is kids job But I must say that for Alto there used to be Guard filter made for Suzuki but until now swift has original Japanese filter made by Japan that is available at 3SAnd there is no match of a Japanese product to Pakistani product.... They have the latest technology and experience which they have earned in 100s of yearsAgain I have to give example which previously people didn't liked .... I have both Mira 2013 and Swift 2013 and THE only minute advantage that a 1328cc swift has got over Mira is initial pick rest I would say it is a shame for MIRA to compare it with Pakistani swift in each and every aspect
He is quoting price of Mehran Oil filter in Swift forum, which is misleading
One of my humble advice to all Pakistani Swift owners please do keep a Back Rest on driver seat else u might get ur lower back damaged this is what I have learned through experience and not only me rather three of my colleague have faced similar issue
Using back rest since day 1. It's not only for swift. Posture in every car is dangerous for back. So better to use back care
Hahahahaha good for a joke but far from reality Just go to market and ask resale value of a 2013 swift with only 20000km odo and a Mira 2013 with 70000km odo u will get the answer why Mira will fetch much more ... I that's why said that many people didn't like my similar post previously because it's swift owner thread and we don't have the courage to accept realityOnce u own both you will simply hate to drive swift if Mira is available

I own a mira not swift have driven swift many times Though it could be your personal view but drive quality of mira is very poor
