I've an auto it does 10-11 within city. I frequently mix high octane. On long routes I get 14.5.

35k. Kms driven/litres. Checked the mileage on long route recently. There could be error of ±0.5.

I get 11.5-11.9 km continuously since long time and I am very rough driver and go only for maximum 0of around 28-30km daily. I drive at maximum possible speed and love to spin my tires when signal goes green but still I think 11.5 is very good

I recently bought a swift dlx m/t with 88k on the odometer. I am getting a rattling sound from the hatchback. I think the locks of the plastic on the hatchback are broken and whenever I drive over a bumpy road, or a cat's eye, it give sort of a krrrrrrrrrrr noise. I also sometimes get a sound from the glove compartment side, but when I press the dashboard, it disappears.

I wanted to know how much did it cost you to get the sound damping sheets installed in your car and from where did you get them installed? Thanks.

I got it done from Jdm Experts .. I think at that time it was 1500 per sheet at home .. To remove the sounds you need to remove the door panel and see if there is any thing broken with in .. and get that sorted out .. You need to see if these sounds from the glove box are still there if you remove the glove box while driving or by keeping it empty .. this will pin point the problem at end .. This is however my opinion .. you can consult the experts in this forum for better advice ..

But sound dampning alone will not remove all the sounds .. get all the door panels looked at .. all the clips fixed and door ruber looked at as well .. I will also suggest to drive the car without door panels and glove box .. Will help in identifying the culprit door

Thanks for the info but the sound only comes from the hatchback (the trunk door). Side doors have no squeak or sound coming from them, no rattling, nothing. My glove compartment has nothing in it, and the noise comes from the dashboard plastic moulding of the left AC vent. when I press there, the noise disappears. JDM experts are the ones near DHA EME?

I also had the same problem .. had them do the trunk back as well ..but my problem was that one of the latch or Nakka was broken .. couldn't find any solution to it .. had to change the whole of the plastic in the back from Sultan di Kho .. still have some problems when it is pushed forcefully ..

1500 per sheet i think including labr charges as they come to your home for installating .. But keep an eye on them and count the number of sheets they come with and the number they install ..

In total i paid 16 K ..Almost 10 to 11 .. Was a while a go so don't remember the exact number of sheets right now ..

I have a 2011 Dlx .. These noises are not audible aur not prominent when you are travelling in the big cities like lahore and Islamabad where almost all the roads are carpated.. when you travel on Gt road and on other roads then you start to reialize the situation ..

With in Lahore or islamabad my car has not even a single noise .. I have a lot of travelling btw Lahore Islamabad and Abbottabad .. thats why i opted for sound dampning .. Now a days the only noise problem i have is coming from somewhere near the passenger side vent ..its a constant vibration sound which comes and goes ..
