If you want to be at 5W for winters / cold starts and at the same time want to be effective in long runs then SAE 40. Preferably synthetic one if you have less than 40Ks on odometer with mineral oil.

i thought so myself however recently i came accross this pic while surfing through pakwheels

my question bieng that the 2nd gen swift 2011 and 1st gen swift both shared the k12b engine so same should be the case for the ecu correct me if im wrong .The 2nd gen did come with cruise control so i see bo reason 🤨why it cant be done but im no expert .senior pakwheelers plz help

Ok yes engine could be same but highly possible that ECU could be different.
I am assuming k by 2nd gen swift you mean the model that didn't come to Pakistan.

Now coming onto the picture these multimedia button come with buttons on both sides you wont be able to buy single sided buttons so i am pretty sure if this pic is from pakwheels jisne lgaye hain usne multimedia walay switch lganaay hoon and sath cruise k bhi mil gaye which he couldnt remove tou sirf button lga diay lekin kaam nai kartay hoon gay just like 90% reborn jis mein cruise k button logo ne lgaye hotay hain but functional nai hotay.
If you could send me a pic of your ECU connector/plug and ECU Part number i may be able to investigate further and check if cruise is possible or not.

And gaari auto hai tou possible hoga manual mein bohat bohat mushkil hai cruise

uhhh​I guessed as much but yes the one 2nd gen which came after the pkdm shape .Its an automatic cvt as for the ecu ill get a pic tomorrow and get back to you asap

Any one using 175-65-15 general tires in their swift? How is the experience?

I have seen cruise in manual 2nd gen as well lekin manual mein cruise install karna is more complex as more wiring is required.

As you know apne race pedal dbaya wa hota hai and clutch dba dain tou rpm would go up. Cruise mein race pedal pe constant value ja rahi hogi and clutch dabanay pe rpm would shoot and gear change mein jhatkay while on cruise so uski wiring clutch ki bhi karni parti hai k jab cruise active ho and clutch press ho tou temporary signal pause ho gaye and clutch release kia tou signal wapis continue karay. takay cruise active pe bhi gear change ho sakay easy.

Auto gaari mein sirf brake pe wiring hoti hai k brake pe cancel ho manual mein clutch aur brake dono
So manual pe possible but mushkil and auto pe easier

Baki ECU part number model number milay tou i can check further

Yes. Recently I have replaced tyres with General BG Trako Plus. It is good tyre. Very less noise. For city driving they are good enough. But ofcourse cannot beat Yokohama Advan Db.

I had a random hunch and re confirmed that Swift has drive by cable system and not drive by wire.
Drive by cable cars require actuator and totally different wiring which i have no understanding of and would just not be worth it.

I checked on a 2011 swift and it had a drive by cable system. I do not have any idea if as the years passed was drive by wire introduced in Swift or not.
There would be no point in going further if the newer models also have drive by cable which you will have to confirm

So if your car and automatic or manual and is it a drive by cable or drive by wire and model year.

Salam lovely peoples.. i brought swift 2014 auto, car is in very nice condition and done 49k mileage.. its dlx navigation and also my first auto variant car, few questions if anyone is free to answer will be very helpful..

Should i go to any machenic to check what is pending regarding maintenance or any parts checking? (Any good machenic you know for swift in khi inbox kar dejiyega).. Also is navigation system of swift is capable of install rear camera or i have to change that with aftermarket lcd system.. is videos from usb can be playable on this lcd, i am really new to this navigation thing.. and also i red most comments is swift oem speakers are not that much good? If i want to replace it what brand should i go with.. thanks and sorry for long post!

it's better to get it checked by a mechanic (you can visit Carigar Restomods if you live near Johar Town, Lahore..he is a pretty much straight forward and knowledgeable guy).. especially get all it's fluids (engine, gear oil) changed.

you can install rear camera with the navigation system. it would work perfectly fine.

changing speakers is a relative term, if you feel the sound is okay, keep them, otherwise change them (i am no expert in sound systems though) : ) .
