Dear Swift owners,

my swift 1.3 MT facing problem in gear changing since yesterday when I want to start and drive the gear is not working but when I off the engine gears are easily changed .....my mechanic told me that it's clutch issue what you suggest did you guys ever facing it's kind of issue please share thanks

It looks clutch issue. Try to adjust clutch cable tightening. Over time a play may develop in cable and related parts which result in not disenging clutch plate when pressed.

Your rotor (Tawa) probably needs cleaning/facing. If it is bent, you might have to change it.

For Steering rack noise please inspect stabilizer links of sway bars, and the tie rod ends.

i hear annoying noise from right front wheels when i get over some cat eyes at low speed.It feels like vibrating noise.
i recently got the front suspension repaired not more than a month back from Suzuki 3s.but noise is back again.
any Good Mechanic in Lahore for suspension work for swift.

If front suspension work has recently been done, then this sound is most likely due to the loose slider pins of the right side brake caliper. This is not a major work. Any mechanic can handle it.

when i wiggle the steering wheel i hear "Tuck Tuck" sound.
i am afraid that this noise is comming from steering rack.
which was recently repaired from 3s.
and if it was from brake calliper pins it would have stopped on pressing brakes.Noise is still there even when i press brakes.

If you hear tuk tuk sound when turning car, then car outer ball joints or GODA have issue and need to be changed.

It could be a couple of things but if the sound is heard with sideways movement, then it's either the tie rod ends or the ball joints. It could be a loose something or a neglected bush somewhere,.

Right.
Control Arm Main bush replaced with OEM.
Control Arm Ball Joint was okay but it was pressed.
Z link Ends pressed and Rubber covers replaced with grease.
Left.
Control Arm Main Bush was replaced with OEM.
Control Arm ball joint was fine but Rubber cover was torn,which was replaced and joint was pressed.
Z Link Ends Pressed.
D bushes of Sway bars were replaced with OEM.
Steering rack had a play in it.
(Rack end se pakar k jab kangi k rod ko uper nichy hikane se awaz ati thi).
Which was repaired from a Kharadia.

Godas are fine.
There is no sound in turns.
But there is noise when the car is standing still and i wiggle the steering.

Either there is issue with steering or have rust in tie rod end....oil tie rod end with syringe..

Since everything has already been done so I can only think of worn out bush mounts of steering rack.

Hi folks. I am planning to buy an automatic hatchback. The obvious options are KIA Picanto or Suzuki Cultus ags. Another option is to buy an automatic Suzuki Swift 2018 or 2019 model. Is this a better choice then both Picanto and Cultus.

Also, what would be the expected price of a well kept 2018 or 2019 swift.
