I got the thermostat installed with the bleeding valve at 12 o clock. Bled the system using the bleeding valve.

When idling, the fan turns on exactly at 98 degrees but temp doesn't go down and the fan keeps running. Temp stays around 100 degrees and if I drive, temps slowly start going up.

I think water is not circulating correctly.

The water pump is working.
t valve was brand new, didn't test it manually before installing though. but it is definitely opening because water is flowing in the radiator. But maybe it is not fully opening?
Or maybe the system still has air in it?

What should be my next steps to diagnose the issue?

Recently i bought a 2017 Suzuki Swift 2017 Dlx Nav. Manual.
The problem is that when i try to play Songs, it does play songs but when i add new ones to the usb it doesnt.Plus the Navigation is also not working.
If anyone can help me with this problem. Plus the Navigation is also not working.

Would like to know the same. Although in my opinion, if there are loads of imported cars available, think spare parts would be available, and mechanics available, then it wouldn't be a problem to buy imported car in the same budget. You get to have many things not in Pakistani version..

Recommendations for Suzuki Swift 2016 tyres?

I have a 2012 Suzuki Swift DLX and the brake performance has gone really bad. In the morning the brake pedal is stiff and works fine until 10 minutes later the brakes barely work when fully pressed to the ground making the car undrivable and dangerous, especially in stop-and-go traffic.

For the last 5 years, it had "brake services", brake pads and drums were replaced, and even the ABS pump/module was replaced as well (despite the ABS light never being shown).
Recently I took it to my classmates' shop and was my last hope, took it for inspection which he said the car is "fine" which I am afraid he didn't even bother checking it. At that point, I stop trusting mechanics anymore.

Now I did fully bleed the brakes and clutch with new brake fluid while making sure there is no air, and also checked for silicone grease on brake pins which older one felt like rubber or plastic so I replaced it with a new one. FINALLY, the car was at least driveable but unfortunately, the same brake problem came all over again.

I think my last option left is visiting the dealership at Carachi Motor Company for a full inspection.
Do they charge for an inspection?

There is air in the system.run the car with Heater on.and then after some time check if the heater air is warm or not.and level of water in Radiator

I suspected so, but I have tried every way possible to bleed the system, nothing works.Temps doesn't drop and fan keeps running.
Today am planning to get the thermostat out and test manually

That will be difficult process.
Check the pump.on a cold car remove radiator cap and start the car and wait for the car to get warm.and see if the water splashes out of radiator cap on accelration

Water Pump is working fine, I have heat in car too. That also indicates water is circulating.
Lower hose stays luke warm, but if I rev the engine for a minute then lower hose gets warmer which indicates thermostat is opened fully but on normal idle/drive, it stays luke warm, indicating that thermostat is just little bit open.
The issue is driving me nuts as its not easy to get the thermostat out

Another reason could be a bent or blocked coolant pipe. Check all pipes carefully.

As a precautionary measure, use a good radiator flush or use Tartaric Acid Powder to flush your cooling system.

3rd possibility could be a water body/pump with worn out fins. If the fins are worn out, the water won't circulate properly and result in higher temperatures.

It might be faulty temperature sensor or Choked Radiator.
What is model and milage of the car?

Both are okay, I have tested the temperature with digital thermometer too. If radiator were choked, water wouldn't flow without a thermostat either but without thermostat everything works great.
Its either bad valve or there is air trapped. I am thinking of draining and re adding the coolant using bleeder valve to see if it helps.

Park the car on some inclined surface.with the radiator above the engine.
And than add coolant.
Where is the air bleeder valve located.can you post a pic

Its besides throttle body on return hose of heater, on iron pipe joint of throttle return hose a small nut. Am away can't take a pic.

Aoa Everyone!

I own a Suzuki Swift 2010 and I had to share my review of Amsoil 75w90 GL4 gear oil. My car is 48k driven on the Odo and the OEM Suzuki Gear Oil was still being used that was changed at 5k. I couldn't find the OEM at dealerships in Karachi and they kept suggesting me to get Zic or something of the sort. I searched for the specifications in the market and found only Liquid Moly and Amsoil as complete synthetic options.

I chose Amsoil over LM despite my better judgement only because I wanted to try it out and because it was still around a thousand rupees cheaper (2800 rupees per quart). My gear shifting has never been smoother. It's like driving a cloud! I don't think I could have made a better decision. Nothing sticks at any speed. Way better than OEM, I'm extremely happy.

Thumbs up to Amsoil if anyone is looking to get their car's gear oil changed. Definitely will recommend!

amsoil makes class-leading products, regarding Amsoil, there's no such comparison with other brands like liquimoly, liquimoly has nothing fancy, it's just an overhyped brand by pakis
