I would like to share my experience regarding an issue I faced with my Swift's suspension.
Issue:
There was a cracking sound when driving over bumps and while turning. It felt like metal-to-metal contact. I visited the Suzuki dealership in Islamabad for an inspection, and they found the following issues:
The balancing rod bushes were worn out, and the rod had noticeable play.
The Z-link bushes were worn out.
The control arm bushes were also worn out.
The mechanic recommended replacing all three parts rather than repairing them. However, these parts were not available at the dealership. They offered to order them if I paid in advance.
Instead, I sourced Japanese parts from Rawalpindi, returned to the dealership, and had them installed.
After the replacement, the suspension feels smooth, and there are no abnormal noises at all.
Car was 150KM driven and these parts are replaced first time
