Anyone miss me?
Just went through the thread. Need to give a few quick replies.
The stud issue with Farhan, happened to me too with THE NUT ON. I had to drill the damn thing open but once the nut is removed, then its fairly straightforward. The disc is removed and a new stud is put in, its a quick job. But getting the worn out stud ka nut is the problem. Always stand above anyone who is refitting ur lug nuts. Make sure they fit them correctly, improperly fitted jammed lug nuts caused my studs to slip upon attempts to remove them later.
The person with the heating up issue, either top your coolant up or get radiator flushed and put in new coolant if the problem persists. You seem to have an air pocket in your cooling system, which should go away if u let ur car cool down when it heats up like this once or twice at Max.
Also, khuda k liye don't put wd40 on ur discs. Farhan has been pretty lucky. Wd40 is immensely lubricating and the braking system works on the principle of friction i.e the pads gripping the disc to cause friction to slow wheel rotation. Lubrication will severely hamper this, no wd40 on discs please!
