Can any one tell me if speakers are covered in waranty?? My swft dx has done only 1100 km and front left door speaker sometimes vibrates (like dhum dhum) with high bass even on 10number volume..is it normal?? Plz reply

O don't think so but still do get them check and I would suggest to get them changed with some good quality speakers like Sony components or focal..

get it checked from a local shop and get it replaced with an after market one like Sony Alpine Pioneer etc (all depends upon the buget). Basic coaxials would cost you around 5k. They perform much better than the factory speakers. Get the front one replaced and enhance your music experience

I don't think speakers are covered in warranty but I guess they have a policy of first 6 months in which the warranty covers pretty much every part that came with the car. Do call them up and ask.

Last time I asked the person here on PW who got both of them installed, it costed him around 11-13k for the clock instrument and i guess 15k for the steering wheel with audio controls.

salam...i have swift dx july 2013 model...drove 1000 km and went for 1st freecheck up, person checked with scanner and said settings are ok..but after 1st free service there is slight difference, when i press brake at turns or speed brakers and when speed touches 20km/hr slight kir kir kir kir sound comes and i have to push clutch with brakes and shift to 2nd or 1st gear...
It happens only when i continue pressing brakes at turns or in rush ..
and when car is stopped or idle then rpm drops one point..plz guide what to do or its normal? thanks waiting

Dear Swift Owners,

Brief update: almost 1,400 Km on the ODO. DLX.
I believe the fuel economy is increasing, although did not find time for calculations. Got used to gear ratios. Free check up at 1,000 km done and all is well, according to Master Motor Engineers at DHA, Lahore. No need to change Oil or Transmission Oil at this time. Shall be done at 5,000 km. Although there is one thing still bothering me......on cold starts, car tends to tremble a bit until is reaches operational temperature, I guess the engine jumps around....... Other than that, brake rotors are sustaining the heavy rains and rust appears the next morning. Which, of course goes away when vehicles is driven. Steering wheel feels better, it used to feel like plastic. I guess parking in the sun at office parking, soften up the material. Need to change the speakers.......the original ones are just horrible....all sorts of issues, from treble to bass, and as volume is turned up or down, the characteristics change completely.

Praying for a raise in salary......need to get some seat covers as well.......in this Inflation!

Got the free check (1,000 km) done on my earlier this month and they did not test drove the car. Dealer visit is required, inform them of the issue and tell them to test drive the car.

If it is Master Motors, DHA, let me know, I will go with you and we will kick their *** together.

Thanks dear, i went to sethi motors for 1000chekup and next day he did test drive on 2nd visit and says there is not any issue ,but i feel when i slow the car with brakes and speedometet touches 20kmph then rpm drops and kir kir kir kir sound come and i have to shift to 1st gear or 2nd, is it normal??

If u want to update seat covers,speakers etc goto shop at model town link road chowk by name of city motors ..u go straight from akbar chowk then also cross link road signal and just after crosing signal there are shops on the left ,they are economical,city motors person is good n reasonable

Hi, I drove my new swift in the rain yesterday in Islamabad and after that I am experiencing a noise in the clutch pedal like when I release the clutch pedal there is a sound probably mechanical. Maybe I do use clutch pedal a lot, can anyone help me out on this ? should I go to Suzuki ?

No need to got to Suzuki ..the sound is heard when you press the clutch. Common thing whixh happens after rains .Get Wd40 spray canister and have some one press the clutch repeatedly while you spray it over the clutch joint which can be located on the left side if the battery its located between the batter and air box..
