Suzuki Vitara 2017, Would it be a good buy?

Aoa,
I am thinking about buying a Vitara 2017 model. It's an SUV, within my range (40-45 lac) and has a sunroof (yes a deal breaker for me). I just want to know how is it good to keep? I mean in terms of fuel consumption and routine maintenance.
Ps: I know the resale is slow but if you can kindly shed some light on it, it would be a bonus.

Solid car. Does 13-15km/l easily.

Pretty sure oil changes are on par what other 4 cylinder intervals are, however this car has additional transfer case and front and rear differential oil interval at every 150k.

parts maybe hard to find

my friends car had some calliper issue
suzuki dealership repaired as new parts n/a

I can understand that I wont be going back to roadside mechanics for this car it would require a dealership to be maintained. How long did your friend had this vehicle for?

a good vehicle, market value is in 30s although demands are usually 40+

Unfortunately, parts availability is a big issue and Pak Suzuki makes it worse by charging unacceptable markup (7x+ on some) on parts. Being 8 years old, parts requirements will become regular and you would need to find a solution for that.

to OWN any Suzuki vehicle with 4 wheels other then PKDM models, the owner in Pakistan need a money chest full of gold coins & plenty of patience @vrsoldiers
