Suzuki has conducted training for there technical staff in Islo/RWP on this weekend. Approx price of Vitara will be 39 and Ciaz 21....I know its too much and I said the same...

100K more and Ciaz will touch Corolla CVT-i pricing. City competition should stay well below City, Corolla GLI, Corolla XLI pricing range. Anything even equal or laughingly above with a Suzuki 'S' logo is doomed to failure. Ciaz will be a stillborn child at that price.

Kizashi is a 2.4L and I think Suzuki could not go below the 5.5 Million mark due to the taxes on import. Kizashi was failure in international market where it was discontinued when pak suzuki launched it. So if it was even at 4 Million people would not have bought it.

On the other hand the new Vitara is available as 1.4 , 1.6 petrol engines [low duties] and very well praised internationally in Europe , Australia.. so I see a chance this time..

It is very good car. I did a test drive while back and I was really impressed. It is lot of car for the money you pay. Specially against main stream rivals from Germany and Japan. I think it will do well in Pakistan if priced correctly. Lets wait and see

With Suzuki Vitara if priced agressive
[ around Altis - Civic ] and proved fuel economical will be hit. It will eat the forthcoming Tavoli before its launch provided the top trim of vitara to cost below 3million mark.
Due to the new Revo absolute right pricing even few Potential Civic turbo buyers are in a fix even though Revo is not class comparable by far but the price/resale/cheap/easy maintenance plays all here.

Vitara is a potent off-roader 4x4 which is world acknowledged and no vezel or other in segment can match like that of Jimny in their price segment- Suzuki is the leader here but in Pakistan local assembled market 3 million above range is a no go area as Revo is all there to be first pick.
PakSuzuki-My advice Vitara top trim should have a sunroof option to lure vezelers, low gear range, significantly more ground clearance than vezel,rear vents with comparable fuel economy and price tag of not more than Rs.2.8 million.
After 3.5million there are brand new Japan built honda Vezel & Toyota CH-R and german built Bmw X1 and Audi Q2 to battle in 2017. Renault Duster is in rumors for 2017 as well. There will be to many and much on the table for 2017.. so hold horses[emoji41] [emoji4]

This rumour is definitely their to price it under it and make people think they priced it appropriatly.

In 2006 civic corolla costed 1300ish. While liana was priced at 12.50 and 13.50 Auto and manual.

Liana was 1600cc.

I don't know who does all this crap planning at Suzuki.

Even city couldn't sell at a higher price compared to xli. How can suzuki out sell a city.

Even in india suzuki is famous for small cars. They had a hard time selling SX4. They should rather focus on small cars. Keep the market with them selves. Not coming up with good cars has already lost it to Japanese 660cc segment. A whole market for small Auto transmission cars is wide open but suzuki just doesn't care.

suzuki brand image here is not great....ciaz will only sell if priced below city and vitara around 25-30 range. Otherwise it will be the same repeat of past mistakes by PS.

I think the trend in pricing will follow earlier pricing market that was suzuki , honda city and then toyota xli/gli. regarding vitara I doubt it will be success at all but if suzuki really want to push they will have to be very very aggressive on pricing ..... but when I think that they are selling Jimny at 2.3 Mil ....really what can they offer ......

Vitara cannot get popularity easily as Suzuki does not enjoy good repute in Pakistan. In crossover vehicles Suzuki will have to face tough competition with world renound brands like BMW, Audi, Honda etc. They need to bring their top of line Vitara in less than 3 million price to attract the customers. No matter how best car they launch in the market they will face trouble due to previous bad record. Honda is considered one of the best among all and presenting hybrid crossovers like Vezel so it will be hard to compete with Honda if they set the price even near to Vezel. Vezel having hybrid technology will prevail if Vitara price goes above 3 million. If Audi launched its Q2 in 3 million range then people will prefer German made cars. For the successful launch The ideal price should be 2.8 million or less with all the features including sunroof, Allgrip and turbo engine.

But it will look good on their paperwork and they can claim to have launched "many new and latest models in recent years" to get away for selling the Mehran. Plus they will also add this to their proposal of asking govt. to give them green-field incentives so they can start local manufacturing.

Being a mehran owner i can say one thing that mehran at this point has zero resale ppl dnt buy mehran for 5+ lac they preffer a jdm in that price i hv seen the market while i was selling my mehran few months back but ended up keeping it as no one was buying it ppl were interested in jdms..!! I dnt know wat suzuki is thinking they dnt hv any car which ppl are interested in

Thats just wat suzuki is telling we dnt know the story audit reports can be manipulated easily showing wat the company wana show..!! Wat i noted was the worth of mehran in the used market..!! Just telling u the trend that the car like mehran in used that too 5+ lac is not selling easily jis ko phily log hatho hath lyty thy now its a different story if u dnt believe me take a mehran in the market u vl have an idea wat im talking about..!
